Love Pastor Chuck but, he said that before the flood that men were vegetarian. That is not possible because without animals as food you could not have things like milk and eggs and cheese, which only come from animals, and is part of the vegetarian way. They would have to be vegan not vegetarian. There is a huge difference.

The way that I have them loaded into RU-vid is the way they come, broken down into a few chapters at a time as that is how he would teach it on Sunday nights. I’m with you man! I’m an addict and I have tried countless times on my own, AA and NA programs and still can’t stay clean and sober. I can get clean and sober just can’t stay clean and sober. I believe in Jesus and want to learn how to be a real Christian and find a church and do this program. I have watched this video and wrote everything out and will write out the Bible verses as well. I did look into a Christian recovery program and there is Celebrate Recovery program close to me and I plan on attending. I have a gf and she is willing to do this with me, but for herself, she is clean 3 months and me only a day but we are willing and ready. I want to be like you and be clean and certain that I’m living my life for Jesus and being my best self. I am starting this program today and will watch the rest of your videos and leave comments on how it’s going and I will connect with a fellowship here like you suggested and change my life. We have two spirits in us, which grow together. One is a little child, our helper, whom God sent, who waits to be born again. The troubles we encountered before the time of conversion/visitation was laid upon us, it is our cross, our sin, our suffering, and by us taking these upon ourselves, we helped protect the little child, whom God sent to us as a helper. So, let them help. Let them now bear our cross for us. Let them heal us, care for us and give us rest. They are not Ruth but are like Ruth, taking care of Naomi, the one stricken by God. Feed the little sheep/child and it will guide us, comfort us and give us life again.
The cross is a symbol of death like the electric chair. To bear a cross is to die to one's self. Give up your wants and desires and make following God our life.
The Helper whom God sent is not a little child. The Helper is the Holy Spirit. We are not trying to protect a "little child". The Holy Spirit is God living in us and is there to help us. No one can bear our cross for us. But I think you misunderstand what bearing the cross actually means. Its not carrying a burden. Carrying our cross is to sacrifice self, to give up your selfish sinful desires, do die to yourself, to die to the flesh, and follow Jesus. To call the cross a burden is a direct contradiction of Matthew 11 :28-20 "Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Jesus gave us a new commandment. Love not just your Jewish neighbor but love each other as I loved all of you. Be born again and see all of God's children as a child of God does without race creed caste tribe Kabbal clan or religion. Slave=Master, Jew=Gentle, Muslim=Infidel, High caste=low caste, Queen=Queer.

@@GladiatorSlows thanks for the reply! No, speech impediments are not always a sign of cognitive impairment. Those are two different parts of the brain at work there. In this case we have a politician who developed a speech impediment as a result of a stroke. He has displayed no obvious signs of cognitive impairment/decline, which is good for him. I had a community member who after a stroke, received therapy, and was able to overcome his speech impediment. His cognitive function was determined by both a neurologist & neurosurgeon to be intact. Though this could just be isolated to his case, from what I've understood from a doctor, is that in most cases cognitive function can be preserved or brought back to optimal levels after a stroke. Though I'm sure there are exceptions to this. I can't speak to the knowledge of Pennsylvania voters however I would say to them to keep their elected officials in check, no matter which party they belong to. They should be there to serve the interests of the people and not their own interests as unfortunately has become the case across the US, and the rest of the democratic world.
