The RealQuickChris channel is a "jack of all trades" focused but not limited to vlogs, photography, woodworking, DIY projects, DIY home improvements, reviews, outdoors and general well rounded knowledge. I myself have many interests and like to research how stuff works and share that with you. I started this channel in part because of my dad. He would always tell my mom when he tried to teach her something that was out of her comfort zone "what would you do if I died?" This is an "if I die lesson" As I look back on my dad and grandfather, the memories that hold strong are the ones of the lessons they have taught me. I want to be able to share life lessons with my children, and it would be nice to think that every time they ride a motorcycle, drive a standard car or juggle they will think dad taught me how to do this and bring a smile to their face. I invite you along on my journey as we share common interests together and build a friendship.
You're a legend, nice one mate. Took everything apart and cleaned it all, and that tiny strip fell out. I thought it was just battery cushioning or something! Turns out it's absolutely critical to the functionality of the pad. Have to say I'm not such a big fan of this design, would prefer it if it was on a PCB instead of this flimsy plastic strip, very fiddly to work with.
Thanks for this post. My dad gave me one of these a few months ago for winter camping. I had no idea what it really was/how to use it, but now I’m psyched. Will be testing it out in the back yard right now, lol. Many thanks🙏🏽🤘🏽🔥😜
I'm also here because of the LPL comment. Eh nuances. I'm glad you posted the video, good job. Subtle nuance with raking and spp but keep in mind that in competitions opening the lock is opening the lock. I frequently give locks with security pins a good zip before I find binders and on occasion that drops it in to a false set with one spool to pick or opens the lock. I have half a dozen locks I can open by picking one or two pins after a zip yet I've never been able to open them hitting all 5 or 6 pins one at a time. I have no idea how to categorize that. All I know is I'm pulling my locks out and doing my own challenge and that's how I found these... need to see what other people have done.
FYI, if you are suffering from itching. I dont know why other people don't talk about this. But running warm, to mildly hot water, the hotter the better.. "within reason" usually just the hot water out the tap... the longer you rub it over the itching are the linger you will get relief. Just 1 minute will give you hours of relief. It's agony while doing it but worth it
I just got a two pound bag of fresh pine sap that is not filtered. I transferred it to a jar now I have a clear liquid at the top of the jar. One what is it and two should I try to dry it out first before making pine pitch glue or use it in the semi liquid state that it’s in. Still quite watered down. Thanks
I just found a baby on my patio on 6/26. I came here to find out what to do as there's a pond behind my house. I will let him go on the edge of the water. I've been living here for 24 years and it's only the 2nd one I've ever seen.
I am currently at week 4 post-op from my L3-4-5 spinal fusion --- I am having hip/groin pain - is this something you ever experienced during your recoverey? Thanks.
I think I just found some grape vine growing in my neighbors yard that he didn't want. I dug it up and I'm super hopeful that's what it is. Thanks for this info!
i don’t have a screwdriver (newly moved in, theres alot i don’t have) so the quickest fix for me is to plug in the charger and then take it out, kinda ”resets” the controller
On December 11, 2023 I had similar surgery from S1 all the way up to my cervical spine. Prior to surgery I was experiencing severe lower back pain making it difficult to walk or stand for more than a few minutes. Diagnosis revealed that the nerves in my lower spine were severely compressed. I had a very minor foot drop in my right foot. Over the previous years I had participated in every other option available for relief. I spent 4 days in the hospital following surgery. Recovery has been agonizingly slow. Although the pain in my back is totally gone, my left foot drop is significantly worse, my sense of balance is precarious. I still have pain over the incision which makes sleeping difficult. . So at 83 yrs old was the surgery worth it? The surgeon and the physical therapist suggests that maximum recovery for me should take about a year. So ask me in another 6 months at the one year post surgery anniversary
Chris the chance of you or anyone needing a revision surgery due to AFD is only 10-20 percent as the years go by. So 80-90 chance that you won't. Pretty good odds
Thank you. In the same boat at 8 months. I feel much better. So much BS about 6 weeks and 6 months recovery. Just like you I am going to be 1 year plus to feel ok. I have foot drop as well and hoping it improves.
Or just go to a walk in clinic and get a shot of steroids and BAM!!! They will give you a prescription of steroids and they work! I did and it was quick awesome relief
Some people tried to rob me I am like 4’9 so like my whole body is my back… the surgeon literally said I could eat ediables and that helped with nausea and pain a lil but then I can actually feel the hardware in my back it’s so fucking sad I’m so young :( I didn’t need one just car accident like two or three fractures super depressing… keep updates man bc u actually have a lot hard ware people get a disc thing and say they have had back surgery and my incision is like 5 or 6 inches … my left leg went numb and I thought I was going to be paralyzed… I got up bc they kept saying before the surgery if I kept moving I was going to snap my spinal cord where the fracture is and be paralyzed then I stared not moving …
