My name is Razan and I am an architect. I opened this channel to create my own platform where I can share my work and connect with other SuperUsers that are interested in sharing their Knowledge.
For now the focus of the channel is teaching Revit software for architects from a professional point of view but I hope with time it will grow to be a great community for all of us to share our gained knowledge from practicing architecture.
Feel free to connect with me to discuss any idea, I will be happy to talk to you.
Firstly, this is a fantastic tutorial thanks a lot! its packs a bunch of useful tips. Now I wonder if it's just missing a step or I'm not following it right. In 4:16 Panel width, once I set the panel dimension width as an instance. Both panels just dont adjust to the reference places as it does in the video. Any ideas why? Again, congrats on the video.
When I'm trying to add the formula for the panels, Revit gives me the error that "Constraints are not satisfied", even though I followed each of the steps presented in your video. Any idea on what I should do? I tried removing the constraints so the error would disappear, but my panels got messed up. I also tried recreating the folding door family various times and watched your video more carefully, but I get the same error...
Your video is very detailed and I appreciate it! It tells me exactly what to do. Thank You! Unfortunately, I am struggling with the door height and panel height. Revit keeps giving me an error: The operation has been canceled to protect your project from corruption. Do you know how to solve this or should I contact Revit?
I think that : Your voice is from the West Asia ! I am living in Viet Nam , I have learn Revit in 1 month . I find on youtube in Viet Nam but the result is zero ! Thank you the West Asia girl !
A way better way is to create a specialty equipment family for corner millions, a parametric one for all corner angles so you can also schedule it as corner Mullion with its related info, you do it once and use it in many projects by parameterizing voids to cut out the corner Mullion when adapting it to all angles. Way easier and better and can be used forever
Thanks your video . Can you explain in ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m1gdIsquY9g.html ? too fast, i dont understand how can you finish it with angle > 90. Thank you.
I have tried the second method, but there is a problem when I add a door on the wall. The edges of the opening become messy. Some of the pattern types have to be replaced with panels.
