Single coil would fit if you ever wanted to do that. They have conversion rings for pretty cheap. I have one in a guitar. The Bluesbucker sounds pretty good though and bucks the hum.
thanks!! how come I've been doing this so long and never known about this feature???? Do you know if there is a way to also link the plug-in-settings on the same slot for different channels? Say I have 6 background vocals that all use the g-channel-strip and I change it on one of the channels because I found a better setup, can I link the instances to reflect the same settings? That would be insanely useful to scroll through pre-sets on multiple channels at once. I heard pro tools can do that
For example, if I'm on patch 1 then press patch 1 again to boost or water. If I then change to patch 2, then back to patch 1. Will patch 1 go back to original patch 1 or the boosted patch 1?
I’ve just got one of these and can’t use the drive pedal because as soon as i switch it on all i get is heavy feedback! My set up is a Les Paul with the Nova and a marshal valve amp.. 10 ft cables between the Nova and amp with no power supply plugs with in 6 ft.. Guitar is plugged into drive on the Nova and the amp plugged into the left output … Can you advise please ? Thanks
Great recordings.Love the stereo field of your recording!!Thanks for the sound journey around the world.I really enjoyed your video.Have a nice week.Best wishes from northern Franconia.New sub👍
Thank you so much! They were all recorded with Soundman OKM Classics. Binaural has come my preferred method over all the years, even above ambisonics, due to the ability to get my head into interesting places. All the best from North West England!
I know the video is kinda shot a little upside down and sideways, ha ha. But I wonder why he mounted it upside down. You can see the three mounting screws right there. I guess it really wouldn’t matter, but now the dip switches for the voltages are not accessible. Even though they can probably be accessed between the rails as well. Hmmm.
Hi Spencer. Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to do this with a Nobels ODR-1. I was told it has a momentary jack so to use the PLS or INV control but the pedal will not react. Tried all sorts of cables too. Any advice?
@@NeilSpencerBruce hi Spencer. Unfortunately yes. Still didn’t find a solution for it. Only thing I found that worked was a TRS cable splitting out ot my aux MS3 switch. One into the Nobels and one into the MS3. Couldn’t get the MS3 to do it but that did end up working for now
Tbanks for this. I just went into the studio for the very first time last week to record some original songs. I’m an intermediate player, at best, but I knew my own songs well. Could I record them? Not for love or money. Finally, like you suggested, I pulled out my lyric sheet to follow along and that helped. But, so far, I have recorded a poor representation of what I can do when I’m alone practicing. Back to the studio next weekend to work on more material … and maybe try to fix what I’ve already done. 😬😬😬
Thanks for the review, very useful 🙂 Do you have any idea of its weight ? I'm considering buying it to take 2 guitars with me in a plane's cabin, but with the weight of the 2 guitars and the maximum allowed by the company, there's not a huge margin...
Dear friend, I had a hard time finding this video, because "Scaler" is misspelled in the title. You might get even more views if you correct the spelling of "Scaler." 😊
Hi Bruce, great video. I'm looking at the tweed v back v3. I not keen on bright sounds. Would you say the tweed is brighter than the black 3? I do love a blues sound. Thanks
I am getting into using my HX Stomp XL, I use a pitch shifter most of the time and play pedal steel through the pedal to great effect. I am looking at power bricks and have tried combining 2 x 500 ports, it doesn’t work, the pedal powers up but the sound breaks up. The power supply I am using is a cheap and cheerful unit that has powered all other pedal combinations with no problem…do you thing a Truetone will handle this? Cheers
Hi there, you would need to check the total power consumption of all of the pedals that you have running, but on the whole I have found that the TS has provided enough power to run some heavy draw pedals such as the Pod GO and strymon pedals. Thanks, Neil
Is it possible to use an expression pedal and assign it to control the volume / level of the pedal in loop 1? The idea being using a tubescreamer and the exp pedal to determine how much gain it has. Is that possible?
