I have a 13 yamaha r1 and im 37. Told my wife I think I need a cruiser next to my r1. Sportster will be my next bike. I like except the exhaust but it’s nice especially in all black
Nice video. Thanks!😊. Only from now I’ll follow your channel from Milan Italy 😅😁😁. I’m waiting my first BMW of my life in few days, it is a 2024 RT in blue/Gray sport 2 coulor. I’m very enthousiast about this new adventure of my life. I’m 66 old and, after 50 years of Honda motorbyke , I decided to move to the BMW boxer engine. Have a nice day! 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Plenty of power! What exactly is that bike trying to be? Is it a naked bike? A scrambler? A cruiser? Some kind of hybrid thingy? It’s kind of cool, but it doesn’t fall into any class. Being that the case, I would much prefer a Yamaha MTO9ST. What a strange motorcycle!
These two bikes don't have the same front suspension. The paralever is the rear suspension in both. The K has dualever front suspension which is far superior to the telelever on the R series in my opinion.
Lose the big fat front wheel, lose the forward controls, lose say 50 pounds? And I am IN! Not until though sorry PS Oh yeah and also? I want the FULL horse power! Not castrated! WTH is even with that? Makes no sense the PA has 50ish more HP? What the??....oh yeah and DANG IT! I just realized WTH? ONE rotor in front?? Seriously? Nah this bike needs a total redo FORGET it! Harley screwed up between pricepointing and trying to cater to FORM over function ....its why I have owned so many different motorcycles and never ever a Harley because they dont care about making a great motorcycle...they care about making easy money off their "base" that basically has been on about a fad involving vibration a look and I guess nationalistic pride thing? I'm all for buying a US made bike Id LOVE to! But I am NOT compromising
My last bike was an RNineT a wonderful bike that handled really good I am an old man and it freaked people out that I had no chicken strips on the BMW such a great bike the only reason I got rid of it was I got stage 4 lung cancer and my doctor said I would die with it and about two years of chemo and I beat it it’s been about three years since I beat it and I am getting stronger so after I get strong enough to pick one up I’m getting the R1250 RT I love that bike and want some luggage compartment so I can go wherever I want I’ve been retired since I got cancer and I am ready for a new bike
Seems like you just discovered water cooled, high revving engine....something BMW in K series has been doing for decades and Japanese manufacturers for over 70yrs.... HD is just tail end of tech that has been around for Loooooong time
Bruh . I don’t know if anybody else noticed but that was the most lackluster , half - ass effort to attempt to do something I ever seen . It’s like when I tell my teenage son to go do something . Do better .
Works ok i guess for the lighter emoto bikes like surron/talaria. Still heavy to use foot lift and doesn’t provide a smooth lowering procedure, it just slams the bike down. Paid $55 for mine when a normal box stand is about $45.
Who cares about the bikes.....the conversation was the thing I enjoyed the most. Great to hear a bunch of guys doing what women struggle to do: Have a laugh.
As an 83 year old rider who is not as tall as he used to be this bike fits me for a glove. I've had a 2021 S for a couple of years now and I love everything about it. Got 2 brothers 2 into 1 exhaust and a rear fender eliminator kit. Mustang seat too. With that small gas tank you're gonna stop every 100 miles or so... but you're gonna love every mile. btw it's faster than snot. Thanks for the video...
Traded my 2014 for my current 2019 R1250GSA. I do still miss the RT. Now looking at a 2024 RT (police white). Difficult to match the comfort & handling of the RT. Life is short. Ride what you like.
@@WaxP357 wow im saving for a new Harley but dam they are expensive I’m saving 500 every week so far I got 4k. I just want a new bike they don’t make parts for mine anymore
@@rayslife4k bad ass brother your almost there man! I don’t blame you nothin like a new Harley. These Vtwin motors are something else too brother very enjoyable to ride. I’m going to say one of the most enjoyable Harley’s to ride, unquestionably the fastest
Loved the footage and tutorial. Question on the manfrotto clamps. When using two clams, do you have the ability to swivel the selfie stick or does it always have to be perpendicular to the pipe/bar you’re mounting the clamp to. For example, you have the two clamps connected to the bar next to the rear seat. Rather than extend the selfie stick straight back could you have rotated up or down? Thanks advance!
Thanks for the comment. To be honest, I have moved away from these only because I have simplified the way I capture footage. As a consequence, I can't comment intelligently on your question. I am sorry I can't offer a good answer. Maybe someone else will?
By the way, Jed, I noticed that the 1st gear on the RT is pretty darn tall and getting the bike to move from rest is bit tricky compared to all the Japanese bikes I have owned. The friction zone seems to occur on the last bit of the clutch release. Could you comment on whether the 1st gear on the GS/GSA is similar to the RT or are they geared differently?
I think that is mostly a function of the BMW hydraulic clutch. It's one drawback to moving away from a cable. You definitely get used to it, but I personally prefer a cable clutch for this very reason.
Funny enough, as a taller guy at 6'2", I feel like the bars are at the perfect position for me to just relax my arms and they're there. I was worried about it at first, but it's actually quite comfortable. More comfortable than my old sport bikes that's for sure.
