to those who complained about left bias stereo audio, try setting your audio to mono or watch this video on a phone through phone speaker, you wont feel the left-right bias
What I found interesting about the Pacer, after looking at it closely, it actually more resembles a first generation Ford Probe (1989-1992). Two things in common were the shapes, and contours of the turn signals on both cars. Both the Probe, and the Pacer, had a lot of glass around the cabin. I remember both quite well. I was a kid in the seventies, when the pacer debuted in 1975, and they really were a hit back then, at first. I owned three 1990 Ford Probes when I was in college, military, and early working years. The general design is aerodynamic and aesthetically attractive, being different. It would be nice if Chrysler, or Dodge, reintroduced the Pacer. I could own an original AMC version, and the new one.
It's also a lot like the Mercury Lynx LN7 and Ford Escort EXP. And like the AMC Gremlin (creature that breaks machine), if Ford had just named the "Probe" the "Falcon" it would have sold as many as they could pump out. The "Probe" was as successful as a Ford "Dirge" would be.
The GM Wankle for Pacer was specious hype at best, to promote it's debut. Rather, Pacer sold to about 235K buyers in it's first year, making it a smash hit success (for AMC) Not unfortunate at all.
Classic car market is crazy a decent low mileage Mercedes CLK55 AMG with 350 hp can be had for £6k a fraction of what a similar aged Porsche 911 will fetch in the UK.
A RR with a German engine. How disgusting, and especially since VW, BENTLEY or RR will not even work on it. For one thing it isn’t a genuine RR, and electric and mechanical parts are getting difficult to impossible to get. Even the BMW/RR Phantom will only have many parts available for up to 7 year’s after model production if available anymore. I have a friend with a Phantom with only 5,000 miles and can’t get parts to run the car. They were told no longer in production. Actually planned obsolescence directly to its final resting place, the junkyard!! In 3 year’s, BMW/RR will no longer build any cars without electric power. They have already dropped 2 of 4 models for electric. Hopefully that will force them out of business. I have owned and own 12 to date, and am adding two more next week. Gasoline of course. It takes 30 minutes with a station with fast charging unit to charge from 10-80 %, and still $40 or more dollars. Ok that’s 30 minutes and not charged. Just how long do you wait until the line is gone for your turn. People really are not particularly smart anymore.
0:41 Jokes on you, Clarkson. Here in Malaysia, RON95 petrol is still 35p and Euro5 diesel is 37p. Eventhough our government no longer subsidize RON97, it still cost less than 60p.
