I hope there is another opera/chorus version of this magnificent Zadok the priest song for King Charles today or King Williams when he becomes king in the future. I love this version with opera singers merge in with the chorus. It just provokes mind relaxing of getting along to enjoy the wonderful music.
I love the lore of the monarchy but I don’t think that any one person or persons should be elevated above their subjects. The amount of money the monarchy drains from the commonwealth is ridiculous. They live in complete opulence and grandeur. I don’t understand how they can throw away money while their subjects were poor and struggling. The fuss over Victoria was too much.
My husband has been diagnosed with vascular dementia. This is an excellent presentation of the this horrible disease. It is beautifully put together and very sensitively done.
Thank you Janet. My mother and all her 5 sisters had it too. What it robs from a person and their loved ones is just terrible. My heart goes out to you. Thanks for dropping by my channel.
13:15 Uncanny to see the identical funeral procession after seeing QE2's services less than a year ago. Her father seemed like a nice human. Between the war and his nicotine addiction, he was finished off far too soon. Next life as happy commoners.
Queen Victoria looks like Beatrice of York! am i wrong ..? Queen Alessandra was very elegant! The husband stuffed the fat man with horns!! Different from George V in that he was quite faithful to Mary of Tack, who was less elegant than Queen Alexandra but more Pretty. Anyway how wonderful! A British generation
Her sisters in-law weren’t exactly warm to her, in fact they were quite mean as they liked to mention her inferior birth due to the morganatic marriage of her paternal grandparents. Alexander, Duke of Württemberg to Claudine Rhédey von Kis-Rhéde, a Hungarian countess. She was a mere “serene highness” until she married their brother in 1893 and became HRH, Duchess of York.
I like this Zadok the priest version music played for this video; its awe inspiring for your mind. I love that there are opera singers singing along with it; its so spiritually invigorating to my mind and for many in here.
Queen Mary dressed beautifully, and she wore her exquisite jewellery perfectly, as only Queen Mary could. She was the most beautiful English queen of all time. If this great lady was Queen Consort, how is it that Camilla will be crowned Queen? How does this make sense?
Queen Elizabeth II was a carbon copy of Queen Mary..her story was more like that of Catherine of Aragon marrying the "spare" bcoz the heir died.. she also had 6 children though hers all lived ... another difference was that King George V remained faithful to her
A very fitting tribute. My grandmother liked T. M. King Edward VII & Queen Alexandra, but T. M. King George V & Queen Mary were the reigning monarchs when she married my grandfather 02 March 1923, a wee bit before T. M. King George VI & Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. She loved the H. M. Queen Elizabeth II's great grandparents, grandparents and parents. Both of my grandparents did as did my mum's parents, but they felt betrayed by the former King Edward VIII, who had no respect for himself, his parents, siblings and nation when he selfishly abdicated to marry the Duchess of Windsor. My great grandparents & 3 of my 4 grandparents were born during H. M. Queen Victoria's reign. Papa's mum was born when H. M. King Edward VII was on the throne barely 2 weeks. So far H. M. King Charles III & Queen Camilla are doing a splendid job, although my heart us still deeply mourning H. M. Queen Elizabeth II. May She Rest In Peace! God Save The King!
Thank you for your lovely comments. I know a lot of people think the Edward and Wallis relationship was this big love story. But because of his decesion and behaviour , the crown went to King George VI and it clearly stressed his life out to an early death. He knew Waliis could never be Queen and just like Harry actually, I think he wanted out, but on his terms and if you want out, then you can't expect to retain all the trappings of being a member of the Royal family. When it was pointed out, in detail, to Princess Margaret that if she wanted to leave to have a relationship with one of her love interests, then she would have to give up so much. When she realised that she could not leave the instituation and keep all the graces that went with it, she chose to stay, she didn't even have to think about it. At the end of the day I am glad Edward abdicated because Queen Elizabeth IIs father was a surperb King. Even in abdication Edward and Wallis behaviour was deplorable proving that they were not fit for the job.
Very beautiful video. My Mum was so thrilled. We were born in Italy, schooled in the UK & now reside across the pond in the States. My mum was born under the reign of H. M. King George V and now she's seen H. M. King Charles III come to the throne. My papa was born under H. M. King Edward VIII. Amazing! My maternal grandprents & paternal grandfather were born under H. M. Queen Victoria & my paternal grandmother under H. M. King Edward VII. God Save King Charles III & Queen Camilla!
Your dear Mum is very lucky to have known all those Monarchs in their lifetimes. I am looking so forward to the Coronation in May of our King Charles III. I just hope all the furore around Harry etc doesnt take anything away from it. Charles has been King in waiting for such a long time. I love the history of the British Monarchs and I do like that we have a constitutional Monarchy as it obviously works very well 😊
@@ADreamML She is blessed to gave that many monarchs. I'm so excited for the coronation. We are coming over for it and staying with my mum's sister in London. She lives near to the Abbey. Mum never thought she would live to see H. M. Charles III, but she made it and was saddened over Her Majesty's death, but also so grateful to have had and met her twice. I just wish Harry would end this whole charade. He's making himself and his wife look like two fools. It's not right what he's doing.
@@gennarojg3 Yes King Charles III has waited an extremley long time but finally his moment is here and I think he and Camilla will be a good King and Queen. The Queens death was absolutely heart breaking. She was thee greatest Queen with the longest reign in Britain. I just don't understand anymore what Harry is at. I do understand the grief etc that he had to go through but he really seems to have changed since Meghan and obviously they had everything planned from day one as they were filming everything on their phones for that Netflix documentary etc. He seems hell bent on some kind of revenge for his younger life. She wants to destroy the institution itself I think. But she forgets she is now lost in her own lies and everyone is seeing it. I live in the NW of England but I will be watching every moment of the Corontaion on TV and it will be amazing! I hope you have you all have a wonderful time in London 😊👍
@@ADreamMLThank you! Yes, Mum, dad and their siblings are all very lucky to have been around from H. M. King George V's reign. I'm so over the moon that the coronation was perfectly executed down to the polished boots and helmets of the military. It was the most lovely and heart moving weekend and I thanked God Harry did not take away a thing from it. The only thing for us was another joyous occasion and wasn't planned. My cousin Camille and her husband Matteo are like a sister and brother to me. Her son's wife gave birth 4 weeks early to her first grandson on 06 May, at 6:22AM in London. They named the baby Charles Camillo Matteo in honor of T. M. King Charles & Queen camilla as well as the baby's paternal grandpa. He's doing fine, thank God. Even though we were born in Italy as Roman Catholics, we were brought up Anglicans because we moved to and were schooled in the U.K. from childhood all through university. We're across the pond for business purposes but still have our grandfather's estate outside London and his 5 bedroom house in London. My grandfather's family business was in the UK, France, Italy, Canada and the Netherlands, but it has mainly been based out of the States and the UK. The Coronation was magnificent and both the King and Queen seemed to be relaxed and beaming with pride. May God Bless, Save & Guide King Charles & Queen Canilla!! 😊 God Save The King & Queen! Respectfully, Dr. & Mrs Gennaro Giammarino, III
It's not the King who has changed it. It's the Privy Council along with various high ranking politicians and clergy that have shortened it a little bit. It will be the highlight of my life to see H. M. King Charles III crowned. I hope I live to see William V ascend the throne as well. God Save King Charles & Queen Camilla!
