I just turned 30 when I arrived at orientation !! Still here! Now married to a Korean!
Hey! Lol! Did you happen to see yourself in the orientation video? I was 28 during spring 2019 orientation. I made this video because it seemed like the experience was a bit different for "older" teachers who weren't fresh out of college and were on the other side of 25 or so. I love to hear you were 30! @@ASHKENYAIL I couldn't find myself in the orientation video unfortunately >.< But it was nice to see / look back on all of the events and activities taking place! I do recognize some people from the video! Mina was one of the first EPIKers that I met randomly on the bus to orientation and had the same Taekkyeon class ^^. I was part of the Daegu intake too! But our Daegu intake was huuuuuge, I think we had like 14 groups! Ah, yes, being older gives you a different view on the whole experience ~ but as your friend mentioned as long as you're not tied down to a mortgage, and a family yet, why not go and live your dreams!!! Settling down is nice but it also takes away a lot of freedom... recently found a Hakwon job in Seoul offering double to triple amount of money that EPIK paid but Korean spouse took out a mortage here so we can't up an move anymore >___<. I'm curious about your school in Suseong-gu! You got the nice area, I'm still out near the outskirts of Daegu >.<
GIRL! These new age restaurants don't even answer at all, in my experience!! They have robots answering for them and like you said, they just want you to look online!!
Very true! When I called, there was an automatic recorded message and I thought there was going to be an option to press X number to speak to someone, but the message only directed callers to their website. Lol

I think you would like it! I took two intro classical pilates classes using the reformer. Loved it! I'm doing mat-based pilates classes now in a regular gym.
