Hi Natalie. It was nice to see your lovely projects and garden. I hope you're doing well. I was sitting here crocheting a baby blanket while watching you. Take care. ❤
Wow Natalie you have been busy, lovely hexagons and so many .That takes a lot of patience. I’m very impressed how your knitting as come along ,lovely even tension .ive been sitting crocheting whilst watching your video with 7 strands of dbl knitting yarn to make a basket using up lots of yarn (wished I’d never started)it really hurts my hands.Watching you gives me ideas so I think I’ll be sensible next time and crochet something easier.Thank you for your August vlog
Aww thank you for your very kind comments Gina. It’s appreciated. I love hand sewing and find it therapeutic. Ohh your project sounds interesting, not sure how you manage with 7 strands though, go you. You’ll be glad once it’s finished, will be worthwhile. I just know the unit and purl stitch, and all I can knit up is scarves 🤣
Hey it's me loving your hexagon colors, I too have a few projects going on with hexagons one is quilt for my twin bed. So relaxing podcast and I'd still would love to recieve your little mouse pattern here in Ontario Canada 😊
Hi Natalie! The Suzette stitch makes a beautiful fabric! I love the colors you use. Such cute little mice!! It was so nice to see you! Lovely vlog!😍 Take care!
Aww thank you for your really kind comments Wendy. Of course you can have the mouse pattern but i’m not sure how to go about sending it over to you. I could e mail you if you have an e mail? that way I can photograph the instructions and paste into the email for you. Glad you enjoy my vlogs. xx
@@nataliewallace9707 Youre very welcome. No, im not a crafter, but i do build bicycles from scratch, and try to make them as unique as possible, as we all indeed are. I appreciate your skills and love for what you do on camera. m
Thank you so much! very kind of you say . pleased you enjoyed the music throughout the video, much appreciated, just sorry i’m not talking in my videos these days but my mental health has not been great x
Thank you very much for lovely thoughtful comment. I’m pleased you find my vlogs relaxing, it’s what i try to achieve from them. That chunky yarn is from B&M, I’ve bought at least 12x of them 🤣 to knit up scarves! x
@nataliewallace9707 are thank you, that's what I would like to do for charities they will knit up quicker to. Your very welcome I enjoy your friends vlogs to x
@nataliewallace9707 Hi I'm a knitter to, I've got some of that wool and started to knit a simple scarf to get me back into again, she is a lovely lady you are to I've never even to Scotland looks a lovely place to visit my brother has loads of times he's there at the moment camping. x
Hi Natalie! That's great that you go to a craft club! I love your Cath Kidston coloring book. Have you ever used any of those coloring pages as cards? I haven't colored for such a long time. You've inspired me to get my supplies out! All of your garden flowers are so lovely. Your knitting and crochet projects are so beautiful. Do you enjoy knitting as much as crochet?
Hi Natalie! It's so nice to see you again! I really like your hexi pillow. It's so cute! 🥰 Your knitting is beautiful. You asked about why your stockinette project is curling, so I found a RU-vid explanation. Here's the link... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k1t2YCFJZhM.htmlsi=_kpcMKSl-5RNL7-N
Hi Natalie. Thanks for the nice video. It’s always nice to see what you’re up to. You’ve already made great progress with the knitting. I was quite surprised to see you knitting English style as I’ve read that crocheters find continental knitting with the yarn held in the left hand comes easier. I learned to knit as a child in school so I do English style but have often wished I could learn continental. Your chunky yarn is knitting up so pretty. Looking forward to the big reveal
Hello Natalie your knitting is looking great , my first stitch is always a little lose until you actually knit it then it’s fine , so much lovely yarn in this episode 😊
Hey I'm happy to see you again I look forward to seeing you always😊 I wonder could you please give me you crochet dish- face cloths pattern I too make them but I love your pattern I also make soap and gift both. Here in Ontario Canada where we certainly have snow and lots still coming down.😂
Hi wendy. thank you for your kind words. If you start off with an even number and it’s a single stitch in one stitch then a double in the next stitch and so on, you should end with a single stitch and start with a double. But on each new row start with a chain 3, this counts as your first double crochet. of doing a face cloth maybe make a foundation chain of 24x. Hope this helps. I can talk it through in a vlog if that helps? hope you’re well and have a great day! Sunshine here today but still got a storm going on, wind and rain. x
Thanks for the tip lovely, I can try. Oh i do hope so. Hope you’re well and see you have a new vlog up, look forward to watching, you’re a breath of fresh air to watch x
It's been real nice to see you, Natalie. Your projects are beautiful. You're coming along real well with knitting! It looks so nice! Take care. I hope your leg is completely better soon!
Hi Natilie, been watching and enjoying your vlogs very much. Your wash clothes are so pretty, you should maybe start an etsy shop. Also you are doing great with your knitting, keep going. I am a knitter but mostly knit accessories like shawls and mittens.
Hello Natalie lovely vlog so much pretty yarn and fabric , your granny blanket is looking great . I made my mum some face cloths using the stitch you showed and she loves them they are so soft on her delicate skin . Thank you for the lovely vlog 😊
I really enjoyed this, Natalie. So happy to see you. Your kids have grown so much. It's good to see them too. I love your granny square blanket!! ❤ Take care and have a very Happy New Year!!
awww thank you very much debbie, your kind words mean so much to me! yes, they’ve grown up loads, it’s scary! Love my blanket too, not much more to go now! You take care too and may 2024 be good to you x
aww thanks, my hair is soo long, growing out the layers in my hair so can have all one length again but it’s taking a while 😂 i have come up with a name for my blanket but will share in my next blog, if i remember. Love making T.towels and in the middle of making one for my daughters boyfriends’ mum. x
It’s so good to see you Natalie, I have missed seeing your vlogs. I’m very interested in having a go at soap making. How did you get started and where is the best place to get supplies from. I hope you are keeping well. Take care and happy new year to you. X
Those scissors are so cool! Do you know where they're from? It's so nice to see you smiling and crocheting by candlelight...what a nice idea. Your granny square blanket is getting big! It's so nice you could get together with Rachael. You both are such beautiful crocheters. Take care. Loved seeing you.
Hi lovely to see you, pretty colours in the granny blanket to, could I ask where you got lovely basket from. I always enjoy your videos so relaxing to x
Hi Natalie! It's so nice to see you. Your projects are so pretty. Yes, sock weight yarn and fingering weight is the same thing. Does your daughter show any interest in knitting or crocheting? When you start knitting just remember that a lot of practice will help you to get comfortable with it. 💞🧶🥰 I love your bauble wreath. Did you glue them or tie them on?
Hello Natalie the SW stands for super wash this means you can put it in the washing machine but only on the most delicate wash you have, fingering , sock yarn and 4ply are all the same . I’m glad I taught myself to knit I didn’t think I would ever be able to knit socks but after the accident I had so much time and needed to focus on something I gave it a go and it’s not hard to do , I can’t get on with double pointed needles but the tiny 9inch circulars make it so easy . It’s much slower than crochet but I think it’s nice to do both . I hope you give it a go I found RU-vid so helpful as I’m a very visual learner . Thank you for another lovely vlogmas I hope you have a peaceful Christmas take care ❤
i don’t have much of a clue myself but what to make with 4 ply yarn in crochet I don’t have a scooby, apart from a granny square blanket. Be good if i could knit. Lesson in what to do with different types of yarn? x
Oh lucky you, we had snow at the start of the month and wish it waited for this weekend as christmas isn’t christmas without snow! Thank you gif your kind words, i didn’t intend to do vlogmas but ended up doing it x
thank you Debbie for your lovely kind words. I enjoy putting vlogs together and sharing with the world. Glad you find them calming. The crochet stitches are so easy, do you crochet yourself? i am just using the UK single and double crochet stitches together. you take care too and thanks for the hugs ❤ xx
I do crochet, and knit as well. I love both the same really. Right now I have a crochet baby blanket going. And I just recently put pictures of my finished Christmas socks on Instagram. Have a very Merry Christmas if I don't see you before then! 🥰😘
@@debbiestuckey6599 Glad you enjoy both crochet and knitting. Bet your baby blanket looks good. What’s your instagram profile name? or is it just debbiestuckey? merry christmas to you too. I have a couple more vlogmasses still to come x
Another lovely vlog Natalie your crochet is always so neat and pretty , I love the little lavender pillow you made me I always keep a lavender bag in with my projects . I’m trying to finish knitting a pair of socks for my sister’s Christmas gift she lives in the highlands and loves the hand knit socks she says they are so warm and cosy . We don’t really get the very cold weather down here it’s just been non stop rain . Take care I’m looking forward to your next vlog ❤
thank you for your kind words jackie. i’m glad you’re enjoying my vlogmasses and so pleased you like the lavender cushion that i made you. Oh o bet the socks your knitting up are gorgeous, what colour/s are they? your sister will very much appreciate it. Look forward to a photo of them. We’ve had some rain and it’s warmed up a bit to 8/9• but the other week it was -2• Hope the rain soon stops down with you xx
@nataliewallace9707 the colourway is called rainbow it's very bright and cheerful I will post a picture when she has them , I really liked the crochet stitch you were using , hope it's okay to ask when you start a new row are the stitches the same as the row below or is it a sc into a dc if that makes any sense haha xx
@@jackiemcleish5350 oh lovely, they’ll be fun socks! So at the end of ever row, it finishes with a SC, but each new row starts with a chain 3 (counts as the first DC on each new row) and every row uses SC & DC, where the alternate on every single stitch. it’s very easy. x
Such a calming beautiful vlog. Thank you for sharing, Natalie. Your crocheting is very pretty. I like that stitch. It makes a lovely fabric! ❤ Take care dear friend. 💞 Hugs💞
