ya ya ya, this RV in your video have an easy access to the furnace, but what about in Montanas where the access is a pain in the back, in the head, in the arms and everything else...
@@jimscycleandautotn8508 on that early model, they likely don’t have the holes. You will have to gain access through the underbelly to get to the motor. You can override it there or replace it. Just a few bolts and 2 wires to replace. Of course check the voltage first to confirm the motor is bad. Good luck. Let me know if anything else I can do to help. -Todd
@@GreatAmericanRV it has access hole 🕳️ in storage to see motor , just don't see the lever like you showed , pulled boot off and it's just two pigtails
Not using slide ,just replacing floor as it was flooded . Just need to move it out , do floor and run back in . Thanks for fast reply in original comment .
@@yobabybubba interesting, haven’t run across this problem. But glad you got it to work. My best guess is maybe a button on the remote is stuck and activating when you get to lock. -Todd
Do you have an HDMI port or the RCA jacks on the back of the TV. Not sure which one your DVD player is. RCA jacks would be the red, white and yellow plugs. You would plug into the appropriate port then push the input button on your remote until you get to that port option. -Todd
@@rochellemilana yes it will lift the back of the truck. You don’t want the tires coming off the ground though. If your concerned, chocking tires will give you piece of mind.
Despite your clarity... I still want to make sure I'm clear. My 2013 Thor Four Winds has a switch that has "Connect" and "Disconnect Coach Battery". So when I have my RV in storage for a short period and plugged in... the switch should be up on "Connect"? And when I'm plugged in at an RV camp site I should have it down on "Disconnect Coach Battery"?
@@scottyofeden anytime you have it plugged in regardless of storage or at the campground, have it switched to connect. If you are using the camper and not plugged in, leave it on connect. If storing the camper and not plugged in, switch to disconnect. -Todd
Yep, that's an option as well, in the event the factory gave you more than an inch of room in there to get a turn on the ratchet. Thanks for making that point. -Todd
Above the box at minute 5:26 you'll see the inside coils. You need to make sure that the freeze sensor is plugged into that control box and the sensor properly mounted in the saddle off to one of the sides of the inner coil. That would be a start. Beyond that it would call for more diagnostics using a meter and getting certain readings from the controller and sensor. -Todd
Hello brother. So 2024 eagle ht the fuse panel, it doesnt have fridge listed. Is there a hidden fuse behind it? Brand new camper, no power to the fridge. The light doesnt even come on.
Thank you very much just went thru my first power outage in the campground and wanted to be sure mu unit had swutched back to shore not on lp thanks again
I have a hose connected to my black tank can i use that to flush because my outer wall fitting doesnt have a hose connector it has been lost before we had purchased it thanks for any help
I am assuming you mean the connection on the wall is missing, So the hose that connection hooked to still goes to the tank and you want to hook a water hose to it in order to flush it? If so then yes you can, but the fitting is going to be different, you will still have to purchase the connection. Or get a RV toilet want and feed the hose to the inside of the unit and flush through the opening of the toilet. -Todd

I've been looking over 15 variety Camper van from different vendors for the last 7 years. Winnebago Solis needs to step up their game of making better interior color & material of the cabinet. It looks like an apartment instead of a home interior...that's the hold back factor for me to invest into a $100K RV van.
Only thing I don't like is you have to be quick with the functions to turn it off without kicking the furnace fan on and then have to wait for it to cycle off.
Insert a small screw driver or ball point pin into the two slots at the bottom of the thermostat. The cover will pop off and you can see the wiring and mounting screws. Swap wires out one for one on the new thermostat. Good to take a picture before you start disconnecting wires. -Todd
My ac was working great never had a problem then my ac started blow out warm air what can I do is it a total loss or could something be wrong with unit from the roof ?
@@user-yz8rc3go7o if the AC is running and blowing warm air, then a fuse or breaker will not likely be the error. Have you checked the mixing divider to ensure air isn’t mixing? Covered at 4:30 in the video. Also, what is the temperature outside? It’s possible the unit froze up, can try to run just the fan on the AC and see if it defrosts and kick the AC portion on again. -Todd
Thank you so much for this video, could you please help us. We have a 2022 Prime Time Tracer 24DBS. Purchased it “used”, 2 days ago. Got it home in the driveway, fully opened the side out and now it will NOT retract back in. We tried both suggestions in your video. When we press the slide in button, one side pulls in faster and it goes angled and stops. The slide is fully extended and will barely move a centimeter on the one side. Any suggestions?
Funny the override should have worked as long as the motor is operational. If both motors are still installed, I would suggest someone go outside on the side that is slow going in and push as hard as they can while someone is operating the switch. Beyond that, my question is when you performed the override on the board what was the result? Also, just to confirm you have removed the motors as instructed in the second video? -Todd
So we had a RV mobile technician come out and after disconnecting both motors, the lower corner of the slide is totally stuck. It cannot be moved manually at all. It’s going to need a major repair and new parts for the stuck corner. Estimate is $1,900 for parts & labor.
@@kathypeaceful sounds like the system came off track at the bottom. There are replacement gear tracks for this system to where you don’t have to replace the whole vertical mechanism. I would call Lippert , they will ask for the tag info which will be on the interior of the unit behind the gasket. Give them that info and they should be able to help your husband out. -Todd
Thank you. As it turns out, our slide mechanism was manufactured in a time period when the production facility had “inconsistent handling” and Lippert is covering the cost of the repair!!! It was issued in bulletin TSB number 146-001-2022 on the Lippert website. Thank you for your assistance and for all the online forums that informed us of Lippert’s repair. It’s saving us thousands of dollars. And, the system will be changed from inverted to standard glides.

@@dangipson89 they have what’s called an energy management system, it will shed amperage and designate it to just the AC system, if you kick on the microwave it sheds it from the AC to microwave until it is done. It is a preventative system that works automatically to prevent overload. Not to mention in today’s RVs you have 12 volt fridges and tankless water heaters. So you have eliminated 2 major components that use to use a lot of amperage on your 110 system. So you’re not having to sacrifice much. -Todd
