I have a lot of great memories of the Silverdome SX weekends, and raced the amateurs there in 1988 after the pros were done, (and the track was not groomed for us, Ruts that would make a pro cry today.). But this was before I started going to pro races. Low bike prices, and Hannah sure packed the stadiums from what friends tell me. I can't see the top 2 tiers in this vid, but it looks to be over 60,000 people in that 85,000 seat stadium. Only the MXofN will beat those numbers today, compared to what used to be the USA.
