I have a network for the equipment and another network for the users. Between the networks there is a firewall. I need to know which TCP/IP ports should be allowed on the firewall between the Mixer and the mobile application?
I have no idea. That's above my head for sure! I'm just running mine straight with the ethernet cable to the computer. Nothing fancy like that. Sounds to me like you need an IT guy! You mention there are a lot of trouble with the Irig Stomp IO, its no wonder they go for cheap on the used market. Have you tried Tone Shifter Mega, or at least as a controller for Amplitude, the Irig is usable even for today?
I have not tried the Tone Shifter Mega, but I will be sure to check it out. I am holding on to my iRig hoping that they resolve the issue. I am still not able to control the Amplitube software in my DAW. I have reached out to IK Multimedia about these issues, but I have still not heard back from them on this matter. @@HollywoodJackson I have watched another video here on comparison as I can find the Tone Shifter at lower price, and they seemed to have better converter and lower noise. The catch is that they lacked expression pedal but you can add an external one. If the iRig cannot work with Amplitude on DAW then it is a bummer since I heard it doesn't work well on certaib iOS device as well. I haven't got to try Tone Shifter on Mac and iOS personally yet hence asking.

I have a question , I followed the video instructions you posted and installed the presets and see them in the Mixbox plugin but the ones I don't see is the Slash,Ace , Satriani etc.. , all the engineer presets are there . Where do I look for them ? Thanks ! Oh and by the way ! You have a new sub here from Quebec !
Thank you for the kind words & thank you so much for subscribing! ❤ I will have to go back and take a look at the video again, but I know that the Slash, Ace, & Satriani folders were part of the AmpliTube 4 or 5 custom presets. The Slash & Satriani rig will only work in the AmpliTube software if you have purchased a package that contains those specific amps. I'm not sure about the Ace rig. I hope this helps you out. Thanks for the good advice.. Had this unit a couple days now and the wifi on it was rubbish now using ethernet and lots better. I notice your FX apps look different to the in house ones. Do you have a video on how to add these?
I'm glad I could help. I am using IK Multimedia MixBox as an external plugin. The MixBox works as a stand alone plugin just like the AmpliTube and the T-RackS5. I'm pretty sure I have a video on this too. I will find the link and post it for you. Thank you for the comment & thanks for watching!

I would like to think that IK Multimedia has probably thought that through and the connection is fused, but I've been wrong about them before. I have never put 48v to a guitar pick up on purpose so I don't know first hand about this. I'm just guessing but I think that you would hear a loud pop and a smell if something was damaged. I guess it could result in damage to both the guitar and/or the iRig Stomp, but this is outside of my wheelhouse. That question would be better left to an electronics expert. I agree. I’m not a big fan of it either. I could only get it to work in the stand alone desktop version. I love the AmpliTube software, but we could never get the iRig Stomp to work in our DAW in MIDI mode as a controller. It’s kind of pointless to have it if you can’t control the software. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your help and for providing me with a solution to my problem. I've been having constant problems with my stingers, which usually lag and cut off too soon, lowering the quality of my video. However, because of your knowledge and support, my stingers are now running at reach their highest speeds, and my content looks significantly better. Well man i am going to give this a shot, not sure if it's the best fix yet but it's the first fix that sounds like it might work....good thing im only playing session mode and don't worry about it picking everything up
I might have just figured this one out. I’m on a Mac but this seems to fix it: hold down button #1 when plugging in the USB. It should hold red, then blink 3x on release. (In the manual it says to do this to activate MIDI standalone mode, but I guess it’s also necessary for generic audio/midi interface mode?)

I had a similar issue with my Alesis Crimson 2. What worked for me is using another PL cable, plugging it into the extra slot (tom 4) and changing the trigger to closed hihat from the module. Worked well on my logic pro. I tried several approach but that's only trick that worked 😃

It's probably just the MIDI assignment either in the drum brain or in the software. Thanks... yesterday, I connected my alesis to Studio One 6, and added the EZ drummer as a plugging, and my high hat went really well, the only problem is when I open EZ drummer as stand alone software when the issue comes
I just downloaded modo drums and my hi-hat half open keeps triggering the kick and ive searched online with nothing to resolve it yet. Using alesis nitro mesh kit. I see its easy to change in the ssd5 vst. Have an idea of what i can do?

@@HollywoodJackson Turning off AE introduces lag, and is not a solution. It's possible to record with OBS via Stereo Mix with AE on. It used to work for me and now it's not, and all I come across are substandard solutions.

It's been a while since I've played Rocksmith. I can't remember, but I believe you have to boot the game first & then once the game connects you boot the OBS. I may have that backwards though. My problem is that amplitube 5 is over loading my cpu in ableton on my pc, so I my idea was to use the stomp with an iPad and run it out as an audio line to my audio interface. That is bs that is bs that I would have to buy all the software again. Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I would have to get a second laptop to use all of my amplitube softare as my Amp Sim into ableton.
No Problem. I agree! I have to use the Amplitube 4 in my DAW because the Amplitube 5 just runs too much CPU. One trick you can try. Lay down your guitar tracks with the Amplitube 5 then render the guitar track as an audio file with the effects on it. I have to do this from time to time if there are a lot of MIDI tracks. You can also render your MIDI files as a wave file to help save CPU. I'm not sure if you can do that with the Ableton software though. We have MIDI drums too, so if you have a bunch of MIDI going on this can help save some CPU for the Amplitube. Make sure you save the original tracks in case you want to make changes later! Check out this video on The Alesis Crimson II kit! It has step by step instructions on how to resolve the Hi-Hat Issue. Most kits can be fixed in pretty much the same manner. Pimp, since this video have you used Mic Room? My attempts have been lackluster. It seems like a 6 year old product that might be better if they updated it today.
I haven't used it at all. I never found the need too. It seems to me to just be a mic emulator. Maybe there is something about it that I don't know, but for me it was mostly a waste of my time & effort. I couldn't really tell that there was that much difference between using it or not using it. I just stick to my mix box. It seems to do the trick for me!

You're welcome. We would be happy to help you with any issues you may encounter. I love my AmpliTube 4 & 5 software, but we have had some issues with the iRig Stomp. It just depends on how you plan to use it. I have had nothing but problems using it in my DAW. It works fine in the stand alone version, but the iPad version is not compatible with the PC version. Your licenses & gear on the PC aren't transferable to the iPad. It's a big rip off if you ask me.
