Rocktape UK is the only Kinesiology tape engineered to meet the performance demands of endurance athletes. This channel is for all taping and educational needs
Been discontinued because vibration is too intense. Don't ever use it anywhere except on your legs on the lowest setting. Using it anywhere else, the vibration will rattle your brain and you can get brain injury
Just applied your first three taping methods in this video last night. So far my jaw has not popped out of place-which is incredible because it has been popping out of joint( requiring me to manually get it back on track) for months! I am relieved, impressed, hoping these benefits will continue! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Thank you so much.❤ I had a scope done on my knee for arthritis but my calfs burn 🔥 sooo much I think because I stand, push and pull all day at work my calf muscles are ripping. I soak in warm water or at times I put ice 🧊 I use creams and I take celebrex. I go to physical therapy but I'm in so much pain 😢 when I have to do stretches or marches. I had my surgery on December 12th last month but I'm still hurting 😫 how long will this go on? 😢 I know this sounds crazy but after I use creams for my legs I wray plastic wrap around my leg after a hour I take it off this way the cream can penatrate into the skin. I'm going to try the tape too.😊
I would say depending on how SEVERE a persons tmj/tmd is would depend on how much they would wear it. I could care less what people would think of me wearing this. I need something to releave the: Dizziness, headaches, swelling, neck pain, Etc. This k taping would work good after applying a teeth grinding Essential oil treatment. Or after a self cupping session. With both after a period of time. Cleaning the area then this method. God viv👍
seriously this is one of the few times ive taped something and had it feel completely better, while bearing all of my body weight, its crazy. Works better with rigid tape though at least in my case, there's just so much more support
Yes, rigid works better because there's no flexibility that's provided via stretching so it's a LOT more aggressive. The issue with using rigid, though, is a cover roll should be used with it to protect from skin damage, especially with removing as it's very strong adhesive. Also, they're not waterproof. But yes, it depends how aggressive the fix needs to be (how bad the injury), whether kinesiology tapes will suffice or if rigid aggression is better suited. I did read somewhere it may take 6wks - 6months to fix the pat pad damage, and it also be suggested the taping be left for 4 days, then one off. Replacing the tape daily is a lot of material, so naturally we'd want to use something more water resistent/waterproof to hold the adhesion. I used cover roll and leukotape for the fat pad under my kneecaps but cannot remember if I left them on for showers or not.... I'm trying to remember, because i sorely need to address both my heel pad pads and deciding between rigid or kinesiology/stretch for this very reason. 😂 But I think your comment has helped decide to yes, stay with rigid. Sometimes it isn't about convenience of application/replacing but actual effectiveness. 🤷♀️
Masking and athletic tapes (ex: rockstar) are not the same. The athletic tapes have a stretchable feature and maneuver abilities that masking and duct tapes don't. It will affect your efforts differently; masking is more an ineffective method. I'm guessing the tape is also much wider.. It needs to be thinner to dictate the proper position and shaping of the heel fat pad, arch, etc If you're in a pinch, maybe give electrical tape a try. Leave about one inch of each ends unstretched, so it stays in place
Thank you for your video. Q - on the face - is OK to wear just for during the night and take off for the day? Not many people would agree to walk around with taped face😅
i tried putting tape on my muscles years ago, but for some reason it felt like it was pulling my muscles in the wrong directions and it hurts, so I removed them asap. What was I doing wrong?
I've had this issue for almost 2 years and didn't know it was a thing! Your method worked straight away! I'll see how it goes and try to report back. Thanks again!
Hey thanks for the overview. Your description of the cupping video, "All designed for dry cupping therapy". Dry compared to wet cupping where you cut the skin before applying the cups that would be correct. But to use these Rock-Pods they work best with some lubricant on the skin, not dry! FYI!
