Dog breeder's/Dog Trader's / Pet shop owner's , House Breeder's, or Individual Pet owners in India must be registered with the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) Maharashtra Animal welfare board ( MAWB ) for Maharashtra state , following your individual State welfare board. as per the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals act , 1960 dated 11th January 2017, in the Gazette of India , (Dog Breeding and Marketing) Rules, 2017.
