@@nukaquantum7 it's doing pretty good for me, like 5 star magic earth first try with the bonuses good lol. Not much since that though. We need another solid source of those damn purple mats i swear. I know the new co-op additions have them but only like a few at a time even with x9 multiplier

Yeah I somewhat feel bad for not being able to contribute more but I really didn't want to pull on a limited banner with anni coming very soon, thankfully I wasn't the only one haha and yeah... water based would really suck for me as well, almost any other elemental setup I would do well.

@@Baye1980 yeah early on I pulled on costumes purely on cosmetic but once I learned the ins and outs of the game I do find it pretty fun. I'm a lover of all things FF7 too, my all time favorite game ever since I played it in 98'.
@@CaponeToneTony Nice. I'm in one of Ryder's guilds, Odin. I have OB6+ of White Dog and Chiron, so scores are decent, but this guild battle is really a check for if you pulled on the Vincent banner. Really tough to score high without - hopefully this isn't the case for every guild battle, but I could see this become the norm (tying high scores to the latest banners). Add the bonus for weapons/costumes, and it is really catered to the big spenders.
@@CaponeToneTony Lol Octo's main guild is crazy like top 5. Hard to manage all players and different time zone. There's about 40% whales in our group, 30% dolphins, the rest light spenders and f2p. but those 3 F2p guilds, are forced 2 pay guilds lol. I think max just 1 or 2 dolphins and rest all whales.
@@LakerKurono yeah earth magic wasn't even really established before Vincent aside from Lucia (let's be real.. not many people pulled on Lucia lol). Definitely a tactic on their end to get people to spend and I honestly would have if the banner wasn't a limited weapon banner...

In Ryder's guild and top 10, a lot of work to manage people's turns yeah. I'm in the lower end White dog OB4 and i just do clean up and stage 1 and 2 lol. Whales go for stage 5
@@AaronHuang-qi6cb Very nice! yeah we try to save our best players for stage 5, I tend to attack stage 4 the most since I didn't pull on Vincent. It's just frustrating when some players go MIA or clearly are doing half assed attempts and didn't optimize their setups. Like if we see someone had sigils equipped then they clearly aren't trying their best lol
As a free to play Player these Events just Show me how difficult it is for us to get good Setups...I barely deal any damage at all. The good weapons are all locked behind investing lots of money to get them to pink Stars..
And almost every event recently has been tied to the most recent banner so obviously if you pulled on Vincent you're gonna be doing way better than everyone else. F2P and light spenders definitely have to pick their spots because we obviously can't pull on everything
@@CaponeToneTony did the Vincent Banner and luckily gotna few rounds of +4 so I got outfit and gun but gun is still yellow stars..not a single duplicate..yet i proves majorly useless against guild battles right now cuz the damage doesn't come in... maybe I just need to get Vincent shards over time and upgrade with those... i refuse to invest money :)
Kind of get that feeling of holding currency for so long and get trashed on a banner.... When you think about it, FF7EC is THE ONLY game where you can hoard crystal for 6 month, and still not being able to get what you want. Just let that sink in for a second..... anf FYI, once you boost propeller to higher level, you'll be able to collect the item that allows you to overboost the stats item. i've got mine at 60 ( 40/60/60 ) and thanks to that i'am now able to level up the highwind collection items, so very usefull
Yeah I figured that out about the highwind and started boosting the other parts. I still don't see that much of a difference in rare materials but did it anyways. Me not pulling on the Vincent limit break banner is all because of how bad my Aerith pulls went 😂
No problem, good luck! Another small tip, save summons/limit breaks until the very last second. Since the real battles are way different when it comes to the timer you want to reduce those animations as much as possible.
Matt would be the safer choice but if you use microlaser Barret you boost MATK for the 2 DPS characters, while also still having AOE heals. Mix in agitation to counter the stomps and you should survive the sigil phases in 3 and 4 while getting the extra benefit of microlaser matk buff
@@CaponeToneTony Unfortunately my gun for agitation isn't ob6 so it can't buff enough in mock battles to keep everyone alive but I could see how it would work otherwise. maybe if i had more HP too but none of my subweapons are ob6
UPDATE: In the REAL attempts the timer runs during boss, summon and limit break animations. So a true mock is the battle ending probably a few seconds after the graviga attack if you stay in sigil phase the whole time.

I think the low HP conditionals can be super interesting if we had a mechanic to drop HP innately. Definitely just theorizing here, but having vincent with a weapon to drop his own health by a % on skill usage and having another character apply shields instead of healing would be cool.
Yeah that would be nice if there's setups that could accomplish that. Another way is just him dying and activating reprieve. He'd be right under that threshold

Convinced I wont be able to complete this for months. Didnt pull on Seph or Zack. Only content I havent cleared yet is this bullshit. Pulled for Tifa but only got 1 one copy plus costume in 36k. Pretty whaley at like 850k power but this dumb ass quest is annoying. Almost just wuit the game when got 0 5 Stars and 12 stamps pulling for costume lol.
Yeah I wasn't exactly sure when to pop them. I felt that was a good spot or else shiva gets back to back silence phases with 2 very strong attacks at a high ice gauge and the battle can quickly snowball. I had a few screwups toward the end of the battle too but it still worked out haha
I used a good amount lol but I think I got pretty lucky getting 5 stars as well. I had Ifrit Sword OB10 for a long time, but I had to farm Ifrit to get Glenn's weapon to OB10 and Bahamut + Ifrit for a bit to get Nanaki/Sephi's weapons too 😆 What's annoying was their growth streams were already complete and I just had to use stamina and hope the 5 star weapons would just appear lol I manage stamina very well and this was probably at a point where I didn't need to farm any other events or anything.
Congrats! I managed to pull it off a few weeks ago with Lucia as my main DPS with an OB3 Rose Musket. It was quite the dance, as our accounts are at a very similar level. I think Lucia and Tifa are going to be an amazing fire combo going forward.

@@CaponeToneTony It was rough because Shiva was only weak to MDEF Down when she was stunned. It felt so unfair. Still, Yuffie (Boomerang, Crystal Cross) and Aerith were working overtime to give Lucia every possible advantage. Rose Musket doesn't have great DPS, but at least it's better than materia. Anyway, now that Lucia has her own Fire Imperil, she and Tifa are going to totally crush fire-weak content going forward.

@@taupexfushia on average it probably takes me 21k to clear 1 page but I would save to at least 27k-30k to be safer lol I think you'll be able to earn 12K-15K between now and about 4 weeks from now before the banner expires no problem
congrats on getting all the banner weapons. I got trolled with mine, first 3 pulls nothing and 3rd was a blue ring of death. last thing was a insult with a OB12 edge wings popping up which just popped in a free pull few days ago. so damn pissed off with no banner weapons showing up except guaranteed. only good thing is got it with 18k, 2 electro cannon 1 centipede. But I really envy your OB3 Tifa....
Ooof man those OB10 extras are so annoying. My sun umbrella is almost OB10+4 despite stopping wishlisting it when it hit OB6 😂 hopefully your next banner is better, I know all about the pain of banner weapons not showing up with the last few banners I pulled on. Collectively pulling 6 total pages and getting 2 total non-guaranteed banner weapons 😂 so I think I was due. And I think you're due now too.
@@CaponeToneTony Thank you. The worst is my Murasame I stopped wishlisting OB6 now OB16. That thing popped during my half anni pull after no golds 3 in a row. My banner luck has be terrible weapon wise, but good stamp wise. Although weapon matters more in the end since you need so many copies. But the strange thing is the game seems to know exactly what you don't want or maxed and keep giving to you. I only have 4 OB10 and out of 140+ weapons these keep dropping. and more often after you max them just to piss you off.
@@AaronHuang-qi6cb yeah I'm with you, nothing worse than extra copies beyond OB10, I think I have 5 OB10 weapons, and 4 of them are at least OB10+1 lol I have a huge amount of ticket pulls I'm gonna run through when Vincent arrives and hope those extra copies for OB10 weapons stay the hell away 😂
