Welcome to Keep on Growin' Traditional hydroponics is fascinating but fairly expensive to start. I show you some off grid hydroponics that can help you grow their own food almost anywhere and with any budget. I show you the cheapest and easiest way. We don't use all the fancy equipment and make it as easy as possible for everyone to experience this. Food is a basic necessity of life and every single person should not have to worry about their next meal. This channel will be striving to find positive ways to change the world. If you would like to support our channel consider purchasing my eBook. It is some insight into how and why I got started and answers a lot of the basic questions that lots of you have asked. This helps me continue to make and share videos. Thank you so much! EBook shows how to grow with non circulating hydroponics: www.etsy.com/listing/615008659
So this summer I built my first hydroponic stack of three buckets. My tomatoes have done very well. But there are two aspects I did not expect: (1) the tomatoes consume a LOT of water which means to be truly economical, I'm thinking one would need to capture rain water and (2) the stacks are the perfect habitat for growing your own army of mosquitoes, and I welcome any ideas on handling this.
@@KeepOnGrowin I wasn't going too , obviously. I was referring to the fact that one would not want to grow food in contact with a pool noodle if it wasn't a food safe item.....
Enjoy your program. Just want to let you know I am 85 years young and just successfully built my first down spout planters. I have to admit they turned out very well. I have been using your technique to grow microgreens for several years and love it. Keep on doing the great work and informing people of how easy it is to grow your own food.
I think there might be a problem with a link you posted for the Home and Garden E-book course, maybe a misspelling. I’m assuming it’s to read grow food fast, not grow ffod fast. Loving all your content!
You stated in your course that you buy your nutrients in bulk and it comes out to 8 cent per gal. Is that for all three components? What size bulk is it that you buy and from where? Is it online or local pickup?
i'm new to your channel - i've only been watching about six weeks but i'm continually amazed that you are so kind and willing to share. this is impressive. thank you for being amazing!
Love the creativity, I own a health food company and I’m constantly looking for the safest packaging. I’ve been doing a deep dive into Bioplastics trying to find a packaging material that would not leach harmful chemicals into packaged foods. Any feedback on bioplastic that you feel would be worth researching I’d love to hear. Date & nut bars / granola is the foods we are packaging for reference. Thanks ✌️
I am listening to it while holding a baby so I miss some parts lol. Doesn't the water needs to be replaced somehow once in a while? so it wont be "moldy" inside , as standing water always get gross .
Hi Mike. Thank you so much for this information. I want to order a whole kit with the pebbles and seeds and everything but I could not find the link on what was below. Can you please help me? Thank you for all that you do.
I missed a lot of videos lately. I have been swamped, Surgery, physical therapy, getting the garden going after we neglected if 3 years while we served our mission. I wondered today why your videos haven’t been popping up.
