The game is impressive when you realize they had almost 8 years and it kept getting scrapped and revived at one point flying wasn’t a thing so they had to rebuild it, The build they released to the public was made in about 2 and half years, imagine what this could have actually been if they had a full 8 years and a clear direction
I used Penking much longer than I probably should have before finally deciding to take it out of the party for a bit. I was around level 48 or so before I finally swapped it for a different water pal.
One of the greatest moment/combat styles of any game. Unbelievable potential thrown away. Hate it. If they had properly supported this and continued improving it they could have basically printed money for years.
@@HodgeFam4Life yeah but the trendy thing was to hate on it back then so who cares if it was fun? Not sure exactly when it happened but at some point gamers forgot how to rely on their own brain to know if they enjoy something or not
The most OP build I've come across: Spear of Varatha with Aspect of Achilles, doesn't even need to be levelled. Flurry Jab from Deadalus Hammer so you can constantly attack by holding the button. Lightning Strike from Zeus so that all those attacks you're doing damage multiple foes. Support Fire from Artemis so you'll also be casting seeking arrows while you attack. Artemis' Aid for nuking bosses with your fully charged call. This will basically carry you through 8 heat with no effort. Extending Dash from Deadalus Hammer can help as can Deflect or Knock Away on your dash. Hold down the attack button and just dash towards and around your opponents for extra damage, add Blade Dash from Ares and you'll just decimate everyone.
I suggest using the bow get the hammer upgrade that makes it so you can hold down the attack button pair that with chain lightning get some crit boons easy win guaranteed
Still a great game. I can play it on my ROG Ally and it was only $1. I did have it on Xbox when it launched and played the beta. I'm disappointed the game didn't last.
This should've been a full-featured game that you can play offline in single-player mode just like most of Bioware's other hits. Main reason I never played it TBH.
Great video man! Personally i think there was some "dead" moment, maybe i would have cut some parts like some dialogues and other part a little boring, but maybe it's only me, still nice video! Anthem is great, unfortunately there is nothing after the story except for grinding the same mission over and over. Very unlucky, the flying, the possible combos with status effects etc. were cool af
there is a game releasing in less than a month called once human, you might be interested in it, i miss anthem sometimes, damn shame they abandoned it.
A recommendation I would give, once level 15, unlock the Monitoring Stand. Helps with efficiency for the base. Limiting tasks and assigning specific pals for certain things really helps with production. So far so good though! <3
The game looks clean , hope they put more Pokémon to use , unlike Pokémon close combat game which is mostly same as this but it only has fighting type Pokémon
