Played the beta Over 28 hours the game is awsome hope story is cool and it WAY BETTER than the last 2 games + i have now a gaming pc max graphic will loook fire❤
It was the same game DEV that make fatal bullet, so they know a lot of people want to have their own characters, but for this one, I think it’s a right decision for them to have us play all the SAO cast since it’s more suitable for the theme.
So in a lot of games that run on paid currency (think gachas) will often have a paid and free version of the same currency because they want some things (usually cosmetic, because when it effects gameplay it becomes an issue). The example I know is Fate Grand Order. If you have the free version (in this case it would be SAO Medals) and the paid version (probably something called tokens or coins or something), anything that's not pay locked will pull from your free currency and only when you run out will it consume the paid currency. The system is probably in place because the paid currency SAO Medals will be shared with is how you'll buy DLC characters and that's where most of their money will come from they don't want you to get them for free.
I personally don't mind paid DLC stuff, cuz it's up to individuals whether they want to buy it ot not. But the main issue here is, after i tried the Open Network test, i just couldn't recommend buying this game at all. IMO the game itself are not worth the full price at all, maybe at least 50% discount i would consider it?? but by the time they put up a discount the game would be dead already... so there's that.
A lot of people likely purchased the premium/deluxe editions purely to obtain the dlc characters, I highly doubt any dlc characters will be available via free options

I do find the SAO world interesting but I absolutely could not be less interested in playing as Kirito for the hundreth time, after playing Fatal Bullet and being able to have my own character in the SAO universe I never bothered with the new releases since they just took it away for no reason and despite Fatal Bullet selling really well (It sold best out of all the "recent" releases as far as I know, so dont they want money?) I honestly dont get Bandai, havnt they released like 5 different SAO games since Fatal Bullet? And they still havnt repeated what they did there again, how many times can you repeat the same thing before trying something new o.O
Yeah I'm in the same boat. It's okay to have a story driven game with established characters but for some of us that SAO magic is the idea of what would you have done in that sitaution. How would you (or a character you created) grown in that world and overcome the same trials that the main casts overcame. Granted I'm not expecting a "your choices have consequences" type of game, but being able to see a bunch of other players bring unque characters to a raid fight is always fun/funny and interesting to see for me. With the way it's being developed, we're going to see a meta appear and then suddenly when you join those 20 co-op raids there'll be like one to two set support and tanks, and then 16+ Kiritos. I could be wrong of course, but for now I'll just watch others stream it.
@@lordseth2944 Personally, it's the "Everyone is here... EXCEPT YOU!" They did the same BS they did back in Recollection, where every game original character was there except your character from FB. And now it's the same pile of crap here. They know the selling formular, if they want my money they can get it.
But this will be turn back point to rise sao game once more after several failure in past. Hope sao vs it also come to mobile with digimon game. Bandai it will strike back hoyoverse this time

Bro! It honestly doesn't need it at all! 🤦♂️ No seriously, that was actually the biggest turn-off for me in Fatal Bullet. I fucking hate character creation avatars! Especially in games where the story is not centered around them whatsoever. Games like SAO Fatal Bullet, Xenoblade Chronicles X, or other anime games in general. Games like these hold no significance to the avatar whatsoever. They're just an extra wasted space that's just there for no reason. Games like ES5 Skyrim, Far Cry 5, or some Final Fantasy games the avatar does have a significance to them, because they're actually contributing to the main story, whether it's due to the plot or affecting the characters around them as well as their stories.

Tales of the world radiant mythology does it, white knights chronicles did it as well, even phantasy star portable and portable 2+infinity have done it, they were great games. I don't see the point in hating on a game just because you arent the protagonist and you're supporting the mc in their journey lol games dont always revolve around you and thats perfectly fine. Also not supporting the idea this game needs character creation, it's not that type of game, every character is unique and you dont build them like you would in an actual rpg, which is totally fine also. People love to complain about moot arguments, like get over yourselves jesus lmfao
I mean i dont think theyre having money problems, theyve released mainline SAO subsequent games for 3 years in a row now (this being the third.) i think the shop is more of just a fanservice thing. Im definitely going to buy regardless, especially if they have a wedding dress for Strea 😂 . The thing is though, idk why but it seems like SAO games never gain much traction. Tbh what it needs is for it to be viral or something. It seems like Bandai Namco likes to invest in SAO video games.
Dimps has only made two sao games that being SaoFB and SaoFD, LR and AL are made by aquaria who also made HR. But a lot of sao fans are accustomed to customization for a good amount its a problem for them that's why the store might be a make or break for them (not everyone) I'm still playing it Sao is just largely more popular in the east than it is in the west sadly and since bandai doesn't want to promote it as much as bleach and Dbz which really sucks
@@SusaTheSusPG yeah makes sense. And if there's any Sao game that needs more customization it has to be this one. Bec it's multiplayer and ull be playing with a some clones sometimes. So it's nice to have a shop at least and make it stacked with so many good outfits too. I think it's fine as long as it's all cosmetics and appearance and nothing that affects gameplay. Altho it did say some items will have their own ultimate skills or something. We just have to wait and see.
sure you can but you can't buy dlc in FB with those medals and the medals can not be paid for so im comparing it to breakers because its the most comparable one besides xenoverse 2 so since it functions differently than FB i would call it NEW
It’s not the Fatal Bullet one they are using, the SAO Medals are legit the SAO coins from AL, I don’t see at all where this is bad tbh since it’s only cosmetic and completely optional, hopefully they add more to this game than they did in AL tho
@@totallynotasith4501 totally different companies AL is made by Aquaria FD is made by Dimps Sure the cosmetics are completely optional but its a LIVE SERVICE GAME so to get more out of the game after you finish the story you would have to pay for dlc or wait for updates thats why I want the shop to be good so people can have more stuff to grind for in between patches because we can always grind for items and gear but like you said it is optional which is true
I usuakly think this game could be like the xenoverse 2 of SAO. I mainly say that tho cuz of the potential for the potential of dlcs for characters and story stuff
me personally, i think this is absolutely fine. its an optional thing to either buy and (if you can grind for it) it exists so you have more reason to play the game. it can probably be a good thing as it will help sustain the games longevity if you can grind for medals. otherwise, i agree, it might not be good. on terms of characters, i dont mind that either since they're optional and if you got the premium or deluxe versions, you will get 'Character Pass Vol 1: World beyond 1, World beyond 2' and i think its better then hiding them behind a gacha and since its optional, i again understand the fustration but it makes sense. overall, i think its absolutely fine that they make paid dlc as it can help with the game's lifespan, especially if they add more free content along side the paid stuff. this is my opinion based on the facts available btw. but anyways, great vid!!
Hope we will get quinella’s outfit from the the anime (not naked uh) or lycoris outfit even if it’s almost the same dress and it would be awesome to get the two variants of silvery eternity too (anime,lycoris)
@@rayan.az1999 although I'm assuming there's going to be many outfits for her in the shop, and you can change her outfit anyway. But I hope I can change her hair too into like the Lycoris one. I hate the weird braid thing she has going on.
