BajaBoard is a new electric skateboard developed in Australia. We threw the conventional skateboard / longboard / mountainboard out of the window and started from scratch.
BajaBoard's main features are:
- Independent suspension & steering - Dynamic dampening - Switchable between 4WD and 2WD on the run - 12kW of power - 15kg in weight - Electronic Differential - Top speed of standard model ~50km/h (31mi/h) stably - Dynamic Wheel Alignment (DWA)
BajaBoard's patent pending design makes it the only commercially (soon to be) available board that incorporates a full suspension system with servo controlled dampening. It is also the only board ever to feature a world first DWA technology that allows the wheel (camber, caster and toe-angle) to be adjusted between moving straight and turning. These two features differentiates BajaBoard to the conventional electric skateboard.
With a name inspired by the Baja1000 rally, BajaBoard sets out to revolutionize the world of board sports.
Not sure what you mean loosing power while breaking, but we will try to guess what you mean. The breaks are e-breaks which means they aren't mechanical breaks (like everyone else). How they work is faster you go stronger they are and as you get closer to a stop they will get a bit weaker. If you have more technical questions you can contact us on support@bajaboard.com.au
I'm really annoyed now, my battery still not here I shouldnt have to email to get my other tracking number, I'm raged I've took my board out the box and opened the box to get my controller out I'm raged for the quality of the controller and trigger has bent then snapped off, now I have to go buy tool kit to put the new trigger on, I have no confidence to ride this board just incase that other trigger wont snap off thats dangerous. For £4000 I'm very concerned for my safety now, I will contact you through your website for my tracking number.

For temporary use until my battery comes, could I use another 36v lithium battery to power my helix 4 or does it have to be the original battery made for the helix 4? I've fixed my controller.
If you have just received your board the battery may have been shipped separately. For some country its easier send the dangerous goods such as battery in a smaller package. Please contact us by email if that is the case to get the tracking number.
I’ve been eyeing these for awhile now and wanted the helix 4x but found a good deal on the s2 that was basically brand new! From all my research(online) Baja is one of the(if not the best) out there! Safe to say after shreddin a few times today this board didn’t disappoint! I’ll be posting some insta 360 videos and drone videos riding this soon!
Killer I’m gonna do this tomorrow on my new to me s2 Atrax! This board is sick! Just got it today and I’ve been shreddin! The light is bright enough I’ve went out a couple times tonight!

The fact that they are wide is what got me. I am sick of skinny dinky donuts I would like pneumatic real skateboard wheels that are wide and deep dish.
Do we feel like with others eskate the “ slow down “ when we remove the finger from the trigger or that go at the same speed on few meters and slowly down?
still dreaming of having something like that, but its too darn expensive for me and the shipping woud probably be crazy to me, also the spring action of the tires seems to be vertical, it looks not as strdy to my than as if it were a bit on an angle, like the common moutainboards, making bigger obstacles saver to traverse, or more like possible to traverse instead of getting the tire stuck against it throwing the rider to the front, considering that both tires can go up at the same time it make it even betten compared to the common once, i am thinking of constructing something similar but not as extravagant simply for the suspention, and, well since i actually need a lot of space below my board (mine is all scraped up) the battery is gonna have to be on the top i guess
Hey! Depending on where you are from shipping cost is between free and $150. The Atrax has an independent suspension system so the wheels can move independently or go up at the same time.
