Saw a baby fawn come out from her hiding place looking before her doe. And the doe was resting under my back yard tree. So I played this tape and the doe came running to her fawn and fed it.
Beautiful deer family. I ❤❤❤ deer! The fawns are too cute, especially when they're newborns because they're so cute & wobbly on their feet...🌝 Thanks for sharing your video with everyone...
Beautiful video. I so love deer. They’re so gentle and sweet. You have a wonderful crew there. I have deer visitors too. It’s my favorite part of the day. 🌝🦌🦌🦌🦋
I’m glad you recorded this! We have a deer family in our neighborhood & I’ve been hissed at a few times. There are people who don’t believe deers hiss & insist that what I heard must have been a cat!
On the side of the road is a water diversion ditch, next to a field that is lined by barbed wire fencing. Seeing two doe and two fawns down in the ditch next to the fence, I stopped the car to watch. Both doe with ease jumped over. A doe snorted as one of the fawns awkwardly, strained, but was eventually able to get through by working its way over the bottom wire. The second fawn tried and tried but seemed unable to accomplish the task. I watched as it failed repeatedly. After several attempts, as the doe snorted, it seemed ready to give up but gave it one last, enormous effort and got through the barrier. Relieved, I started the car until upon another glance, I saw the doe repeatedly stomping the fawn with one front hoof after the other. The fawn curled up into a little ball as the beating persisted. Alarmed, I honked the horn again and again, but the doe was not to be dissuaded and the beating continued. I jumped out of the car, climbed down the ditch to try to scare her enough to stop the battering. She continued undaunted by my presence despite my shouts. Eventually, much to the fawn’s relief and mine, she stopped, and they all quickly trotted away. After reflection over the years, I came to the realization that life and death in the wild calls for severe lessons. What if I had been a predator? The second fawn would have perished. The lesson taught by the doe was likely never forgotten and, in the future, would trigger a flight response and save the learner’s life.
Hello everyone! Please please please scratch those antlers on him !! please!! Shedding antlers are terribly itchy. You cold probably get off then off in least the 2 hours! OH Yeah!! And I would ❤️❤️❤️ you to post it!! I need to live vicariously through life! Lol. I know it’s a lot to ask, but I bet it takes less time than 2 hours. Thank much! Besides, this video might be great and give you lots of likes !!! And greetings from Florida !🍊🍊🍊
Just looked up deer hissing...came out of my back door tonight and something was hissing right off my back deck. Reached back inside, flipped on the patio light and there was a deer staring back at me over the railing...scared the hell out of me. Was a prolonged hiss though...they can be catty, these guys!
This is a bald-faced hornet (Dolichovespula maculata) nest. It is a beneficial insect which preys on large numbers of pests such as flies and other yellowjacket species.
Thank you for the information. I had never seen a nest that close up and I have to say that I don't know much difference between wasps, bees and hornets. They did look scary though lol. There are other bees or? in the area that are making holes in the ground this time of year in Ohio. They seem very busy and don't bother people. THANKS AGAIN!
I enjoy your deer vids. I feed a backyard herd in NE Ohio. What state are you in? Your climate, foliage and deer antler growth look same as here. Thanks
I'd say protecting babies but they seem to have a bad attitude year round so maybe a territorial thing. Not sure which video you saw but funny that the young deer and doe run off scared but the old bucks just stand there unfazed by the birds attacking and sitting on their behinds lol.
