Deus ex machinas are indeed really annoying. No one likes an ass pull unless it makes a lot of sense with the lore. Personally, the incestuous siblings trope is actually the worst.
OOF! That is a really bad one. I haven't seen it in so long since I've mostly been watching mha for the last year so I forgot. That's definitely worse.
I never like the souls games, it was a skill issue but i love open world games so thats why i gave elden ring a chance and im glad i did. Turned into my #1 game and i started giving other soul games a chance again
That's how I'm feeling so far. I've been having a great time with elden ring. It's a unique experience. Never liked the other ones but may go back if I finish this game. Community been nice to me in streams and discord so far too.
It was a card of its time. In early yugioh I stopped so many otks with this card. It countered cyberstein plays after cost for game (Suck it BEUD). I also did a ton of COH into marshmelon. Magical arm shield into raigeki break after dmg calc. I can’t see a place for it in modern yugioh. Maybe a battlin boxer/all out attacks-stun deck? 🤷🏾♂️
This card would be hilarious today. Stealing a yubel for game would be amazing 🤣 I got this card to work ok in things like decade duels but never in real matches. It always got popped before battle phase lol
To day i didn´t play Elden Ring. But im a absolute DarkSouls nerd. I played around 2-3k hours in all titles. (except Demon Souls cuz i don´t have a PS) Elden Ring is like all other games i got told. Git gud. The entry level seems lower then Dark Souls but it goes higher and higher with progress and the DLC is quite not that easy. Thats normal in FromSoft Games. The base game is kinda easy when you get the hang of, which needs couple hours. But when you´re comfortable it´s easy. DLC difficulty skyrocket but you have to get used to it as always.
First. I like the paladins profile picture. Second, that's about what I expected I guess. Im okay with high difficulty games as I did play code vein and cuphead but I don't like when stats are super complex. I hope they don't have stuff like Diablo like cold, freeze, frost dmg for example. I'll look at more gameplay before I decide to buy or not.
Hmm you should be able to fight weekly bosses. And tbh just play through Liyue, it’s just 3 quests. Why would you bother playing the game if you don’t make it pass Mondstand story wise
I think a simple way would be to allow something like transmuting or trading of materials for other materials, maybe you need to farm regional materials only from Mondstadt and Liyue and you can say, trade 2 or 3 items in for one item from a region you don't have unlocked. For boss materials in HSR for example, you're able to turn 2 of any other material into 1 of a material, even ones you can't access. Also in HSR, they enable access to Calx (domains) that you don't have unlocked for a limited time after you get a new character. So this is a solved problem in other Hoyo games.
As a new player I experienced this and had to grind so hard to get mats for other characters instead. I had this issue with Kirara and now with Raiden. I'm already Adv lvl 50 due to my chest hunting etc which has scaled past my characters a good 3 times. And I've chosen not to ascend my world level for now because I already can't lower my world level low enough. However I love this game so I won't quit, I do see why someone would though.
I've always had an on and off relationship with genshin and I just went to off but glad you're enjoying it. As for mats yeah it's really annoying for certain characters. If you have higher lvl friends they can probably help you so it's not as difficult too.
I think it was a bigger problem during 2.X versions, when most characters released were from Inazuma, so a newbie in 2.X was more likely to get an Inazuma character than the newbie is now.
While I do agree Inazuma has arguably the most popular archon in raiden shogun. Imagine getting her, getting her to lvl 40 (counting test run mats) and be left with her like that. It's kinda weird that I can pre farm for nahida who's later in the story but not raiden. You're definitely right and most mats are accessible enough but the flowers are just locked. If u need mats from tsurumi Island than forget it. 🤣
@@RealTrueKingsDen honestly, it's not that big of a problem. You can cheese anything that isn't a boss or cryo with freeze reaction (barbara and kaeya can do that), story bosses are easy and you get some buffs/characters to use during story fights
I'm running an alt account I just started, and I was *very* conscious about this problem and skipped Kazuha's banner. But Raiden just released and I thought she would make a good addition to the account. I was close to finishing the prerequisite quests by this point, so I pulled, rushed the quests to get into Inazuma...and then found out I still need to do a ton of quests on Seirai Island to be able to reach the Thunder Manifestation.
Yeah the boss mats just add onto the grind sadly and inazuma is just like that lol. I think people don't understand how annoying it is since inazuma was so long ago and accts created after inazuma has access to things people didn't have like Dendro as an option or other amazing new characters to help you blaze through. Tsurumi Island just makes it worse since you can go there but it's covered in fog and you can't even attempt to get mats since it tp's you back.
I feel the same way. Also it's kinda lame imo that most guns shoot the same. The later characters started to remedy this issue though. At least it has a little single player content. I think it can be co op too
Great video! What's your take on the whole "inazuma sucks bc its supposed to and thats the point" thing ? I've seen mixed reviews, i myself kinda appreciated it for those lore reasons but also damn it kicked my ass 😭
Same with Inazuma weapons. I think the worst is Thoma and Kagura's Verity, their mats is at Tsurumi island waaaay south, and if you try to get them before starting the quest, you just "get lost in the fog." Very fustrating. Inazuma was the first expansion, and I think there's a good reason why none of the other countries are like Inazuma.
Let's Hope We Don't Get Inazuma treatment For Another Region. Tsurumi Island Was A Nightmare. I was so excited when i got there but gave up when i realized i can't explore it. felt like my exploration was punished. I'd rather just hit an invisible wall if they're going to say Nope anyways lol
This guy is 3 years late to this topic........ the game is been out since 2020 and he thinks 6 years worth of content will be available right way when u start playing the game and u cam reach Inazuma if u really want to in less that a day if u play just the story line .
Bro that opening statement... after i got my PC I made a new account ( this was when Inazuma was the new area). and exactly this happened . I pulled Sayu thought she was cool but she was stuck at lvl 20 because i couldn't get her materials. So natruarally i spent like 2 hours walking across the ocean and dodging lightning with Keaya just to get warped back to Liyue upon touching land.
I'm only interested on combat. Just like wuthering waves. Story skip...not interested in school/reasong/history video >_< Why I get bored in visual novels. Wuwa is still new... I play pgr too. Starter characters usually not the best to play and later after 1 year the characters new release I feel the cast of characters get more flushed out and better new fun playstyles. Eh genshin combat is alright. I am dolphin and I c6 itto in mono geo I know it sounds cringe... im really into swords. I dont like guns I like up close and personal combat. Also itto doesn't cancel his attack chain which I really love. But after c6 I just hold left click. But sometimes I just do normals and pretend to not have the c6. Also hyped for xilonen I get her c4 r5 and I estimate itto per slash does around 200k to 216k per first 6 charge attack slash without food buffs in the overworld I am so hyped
I feel like this "inazuma problem" has a pretty over looked solution of just playing the game. with a inconsistent schedule you can probably get to inazuma in less than a week. and once you get to inazuma you have access to all its materials
definitely Not in a week especially if your doing side quests or grinding other characters Unless You Have a decent amount of free time or Genshin is you main game. it was part of why my friends quit. they had other things to do so spent their time on other games.
I think it is a flawed game design that you can attain a character during the beginning of the Mondstadt quest, but be unable to power them up until the Inazuma quest, and the devs know it, which is why Sumeru and Fontaine are not only unblocked, but you can quick travel to Fontaine right after finishing Mondstadt. That was likely done so that players don't have to walk all the way there for Fontaine character materials. They know of the Inazuma problem, they just don't care to do anything about it.
Agreed. Which is why I complain about it in every survey, and suggest they put boss materials in the shop... doesn't have to be a lot, say, 2 per month, just so you can get your brand new character to at least 50 before unlocking the map/boss. I also have characters on both America and Asia servers that I keep at AR25, with Inazuma unlocked (no Chasm or Enka, unfortunately), so friends with low level accounts can access most of those bosses.
It’s a GAME, like there’s so much you can do and a lot of freedom, often times you can go in any direction and you’ll find some shit. Summons is something everyone can use, the restrictions for it is the areas you are in you can’t use them wherever but typically can use it where you’ll need it the most but totally optional. In elden ring timing or skill really definitely is a factor but doesn’t mean it’s all it. There’s a lot builds and things you can try out that fit what you want play-style wise. Story, the way it’s told can be very vague and in pieces, it’s not like code vein where you get a full narrative and cutscenes of the story, you’ll get the main idea from the main story quest lines but there is a lot more in it you could easily miss, people have made videos explaining the story and the lore of things so that you don’t have to get too confused if you want to learn more.
It's not too bad nowadays due to the fact that Inazuma is the 3rd country in the main story so won't take long to get to if you focus on the story first and then unlock the relevant areas after you leave Ritou. That said, it's still a pain and a half to go through depending on the character. Hell, even a couple of Liyue characters, Shenhe and Yunjin, are caught up in this as well with both needing boss mats that are quest locked in the furthest parts of Inazuma. It's definitely a case of "research the character you're interested in thoroughly before pulling".
That Makes Sense. The Only issue I See Is that Since It's A Gacha Game Of People Want To Grind The New Character They got Up Early So they Can Use them Asap. It Sucks To Lock them Out But It Makes Sense Story Wise So It's Kind Of Hard To Complain. I Definitely Recommend Researching Your Character Before You Summon Though!
I just started an alt account, and I had to *hurry* to get to Inazuma before AR40. Unless you are deliberately rushing the story -- which you should absolutely not do unless this is simply how you choose to play the game -- you can access anywhere in the game long before you can access Inazuma. But that's not even the worst! Even after running through all of the Liyue Archon Quest, We Shall Be Reunited, the Beidou-Kazuha tournament quest, and everything on Ritou, many of the Inazuma characters STILL can't be leveled until you do additional quests to unlock access to some specific part of the map. For the most extreme example, take Yae Miko, who requires you to go to Watatsumi Island, complete quests in the overworld to reach Enkanomiya, do the **ENTIRE** Enkanomiya questline, and only then will you have access to the boss materials for her ascensions. And this isn't a unique case. Raiden, currently on banner, requires you to run through the entire questline on Seirai Isle. So yes, it is still very much "too bad nowadays." You can say research the character, but a new player is not going to know to do this, especially when no guides and no content creators warn even the diligent players.
@@azuarc Very true. And there are just so many things that a new player won't know that if they did, it would prevent a lot of needless pain. There's not much content online that has a comprehensive focus on what you should know as a beginner although that may be because most beginners would rather dive in head first rather than learn anything ahead of time (partially to avoid ruining a first time experience).
While I agree that the region being locked is a problem for new players leveling characters, I actually don't agree its as bad as everyone says. I got to Inazuma with my characters in the 40-50 range, and the region actually unlocks earlier than it used to. And my first rolled character was Thoma, _off_ banner so he was locked at 20, but he helped carry my team a lot during that period, and this was before he was considered a decent character. (Another early one was Sara, who I ignored because I got an early Fischl). As long as the player learns how to actually make use of artifacts, which make up half of your stats, its not that hard to cover the level difference. Like cracked 5* artifacts can make a lvl 1 character be on par with regular late game characters. Like, I didn't just have to get to Inazuma. I had to do the 2 world quests to actually unlock those mushrooms for Thoma. He's literally the longest character possible to unlock. And honestly, there's no reason why Dori doesn’t have someone from her black market that has his mushrooms. I know most souls don't travel to Tsurumi Island, but still.
I don't think It's Too Bad Overall But Still Is Kinda Annoying For A New Player To Be Told "Nope, You Can't Level This Character Anymore" I'll Give You The Point On Artifacts Carrying Your Stats For That Part Of The Game It's Just lame That You Can't Prefarm those Characters So you Have the Mats Ready Once You Unlock Those Bosses And Flowers.Ran Into That Issue With My Yoimiya And Had To Wait Till I Got To Inazuma To Get My Naku Weeds. Yeah If Dori Had Them That Would Be A Good Solution. Makes More In Game Sense Than My Flora Idea Too!
@@RealTrueKingsDen Well now that we have Kachina for the Natlan set and had Dendro Traveler (who can be gotten before you every meet Signora if you thought too), I don't think it's too hard for a player to carry themselves to Inazuma.
Lowkey had to go do through to a of world quest in Inazuma to lvl up my Kuki for my hyperbloom team and she was pretty much a quick swap, cause she'll literally die if i dont swap fast enough lol
Actually, I think you don't need to run to get to both Fontaine and Natlan. Teleport Waypoint are installed at the entrance of both regions to ensure you get there. early for foraging. If only Inazuma isn't locked story-wise.. might've been possible.. tho it might just be me but I think they might be biased against the country which Inazuma is based from. Btw, sumeru gave us a free Collei😁
LOL I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT THAT WAY ! Zhongli is the only character to get a direct buff so u might be on to something 🤣 Also. How did I forget the first dendro 4 star lol. Thanks
@@RealTrueKingsDen Well, they are definitely biased towards their own. No doubt about that. Can't blame them for that but I wish they were more lenient towards Inazuma tho. Well, it would ruin in-game story plot for Inazuma if they gave an early access to the region... Closed borders like how WANO was in One Piece. Lol
Biased AGAINST Japan? In a company with the motto "tech otakus save the world"? Who make anime games? And make countless anime references? And have Japanese as one of the few available voice-overs? And had Ayaka as their favorite child for the longest? And keep making collabs and working together with Japanese companies and IPs? And who named of most of their most iconic characters (especially in HI3) with Japanese names? I think a bias against Japan is highly unlikely xD
I've been thinking about it. I had a terrible experience with people complaining about Meta in helldivers when I just wanted to have fun so I stuck with friends in this so far
@@RealTrueKingsDen that's fair, there really aren't meta picks in drg and most of the long time players enjoy looking after newbies for drg. Also builds are explicitly shared unless you mod the game
Yeah we played for a few hours yesterday and that session was crazy. First mission fail and some crazy new enemies. Being drunk on missions. There's way more than I expected
Another gem channel I found on RU-vid shorts, keep it up man! And I know this might seem off topic, but here’s for anyone who feels they’ve lost hope and needs to hear this: whether you believe in Heaven or not, consider this, if there was a Heaven, are you sure you’d go there after death? If you’re not sure, here you go: God loves you, and he became a human as Jesus, died to take the penalty for anything wrong you’d ever do, and rose from the dead. Sin is disobedience to Jesus’ commandments for how to live, and sin separates us from him- if you want to be saved from hell and be with God forever after death, just believe in Jesus and what he did (John 3:16) and turn away from habits of sin (Luke 13:3). That’s it. Our actions are the evidence for whether our faith is real (James 2:17), but since everyone fails on a daily basis, we aren’t saved by our actions, but only by God’s mercy (Ephesians 2:8-9), so when we fail, all we need to do is confess our sins to God, and continue fighting (1 John 1:9). Hopefully this helps anybody in need, and I hope you have a great day!
As fucking cool as this game looks, it'll probably get overshadowed by Sparking Zero and will be just one of "those arena fighters" that dies after a few months.
Definitely getting overshadowed by sparking i already see it but I don't think it'll die as fast just cause bleach is currently still being animated. Also I don't know if this is a true arena fighter. They don't seem to have free movement. It looks like the og budokai games but at a different camera angle
