Beloved church band manifesting one of my all time favorite church songs. Been listening to the old version a lot and appreciating this adapted version. It’s still nice and dark. For me, I like how the sense of suspense has taken on a more cleaned up and cinematic quality. Interesting. 👌 😌

Jon is a fucking animal with two sticks and a drum kit... It's crazy how good this band is... I keep playing new songs I've never heard before and can't get enough
for no IEMS with a click, they are so incredibly tight here, not even a single beat off, and even doing that trash can-esq break around 5:40, mind blowing the whole song
The slight change Jon does in his kick drum pattern from Josh's 3:44 solo to Troy's solo 4:01, especially in this last one, is beautiful. He makes them feel like two completely different parts.
