Ahh you love to see it! I'm just a couple a boys who love the footy Its nice to see Zack express his love for small latinas Broden got a bit too angry for me but the Irish always were a fiery bunch. Loved the lady at timestamp - 51.47 I'm off but will defiantly in the future Mind how you go ^-^
How do you feel about supporting a different womens team to your mens team? I grew up in sydney but moved to adelaide and have been supporting crow AFLW since they started. Do I have to support the Crow mens team now or can I keep supporting Sydney from afar?
Awesome job Tom and Broden with the content this year. I’m a swans fan and it really wasn’t our day, but the lions deserved the win. Looking forward to next year
Chicken treat is also horrendous. It came to Devonport once, and let me be clear when I say Devonport is Mordor of food - just bloody horrendous and evil - and chicken treat couldn't even last a year in bloody Devonport. I have had better food at Epping Forest. Thankyou.
Totally agree with Marns about being fatigued by football. I love to watch the AFLW, but it needs to start when the men start, maybe their finals are the month before the men's. If that was the case I'd be all on board at the start of the season, which would invest me more in watching the season out. Right now I'm hoping my swans win the flag, then I'm keen to watch some test match cricket. Mens year is far too long, women's is far too short 🤷♂️
This podcast is the living embodiment of that Aunty Donna sketch where the AC repairman comes in and it makes the boys get weird and start talking about WWE
Great chat! 💚💛❤️ 46:20 - I'm certainly not /against/ bringing some big cannibal energy to the Devils playing group as our "winning edge"... 🤷🏽♂️. A quick fact check, though: the cannibal in question was actually Alexander Pearce. Horrifyingly, he escaped from Sarah Island (on Tasmania's extremely isolated west coast), ate all of his fellow escapees, and walked for days across dense wilderness to the settled south-east not once but twice. The first time, Pearce admitted to cannibalism, but the authorities didn't believe him, and thought it was a cover story for the other escapees who were still at large. The second time, Pearce was found with human remains in his pockets. He went to the gallows soon after that! 🤮☠️
I still don’t know why a touch of Instagram bants became such a big deal. And it wasn’t like calling someone a fat loser and then copping out by going “oh, just bants.” It was the barest hint of personality, and the footy world lost its shit.
Jack’s old mam Chris was my PE Teacher in primary school. My mum also taught at the school, so would often hang around till 4 when meetings ended. Chris once introduced Jack to me (we are similar ages) after school one day. “Jack you should go play with Patrick.” Jack responded “No.” Haha. Childhood memories.
