From Japan. Sorry for my poor English. I have not watched a new th8 TAS in a long time. Thank you for showing us a great video. I have only seen th7 and th14 TAS so far where the score reaches the upper limit. I am looking forward to watching the finished version as I understand that this time it is a test play.
There’s a reason why the rank isn’t set to 50 which is the maximum. The rank determines the bullet velocity speed, the higher the faster. Even if that attack you mentioned in the timestamp right there is set to rank 1, the speed scaling of the big bullets on that specific attack pretty much goes up to THAT fast no matter what.
8:10 the random pellets forming what looks like perfectly straight lanes, not just once, but thrice in a row.. is this some mechanic about this spell I didn't know or bizarre chance? 😨
I wonder if there's a way to remove the cap on the point pickups and remove a cap on the score counter (or maybe a way to track how many times your score overflowed) so you can see how high your score can REALLY get
“For the sake of the ascension of mankind, their worthless flesh must be dealt with. All of those who oppose our plan shall be exterminated.” For the intro
yeah i'm all for making games hard as balls, and i guess this makes for a cool visual spectacle if nothing else, but what is the point of designing a game literally, by no exaggeration whatsoever, not even meant to be beaten by humans. how is this meant to be fun or a good time. if not having fun, what merit is the experience of playing this even supposed to hold. why would anyone pay money for this. what are you supposed to get out of it. i cannot even begin to fathom the appeal this is supposed to have. as i see it this is just stupid and the developers' sole goal in creating it was to compensate for having tiny weiners
not to mention "Re-record count: 700~1000", and thats WITH external tools. even the most ridiculous bosses i've fought took me under 100 tries that's fucking insane to the point of not even being impressed anymore the music rapes at least
Well, in this case Cave simply went overboard with making the boss, the most logical explanation. I think pretty much all other games had hard, but still very much possible TLB's, so I can see how they flopped this time. Though on the topic of difficulty, it is an arcade game, and Inbachi does have reqs, meaning she will be only reached by people who are willing to conquer something hard.
Third comment, and this is literally Saya's story in a nutshell. Note, many heavy MGR:R references are scripted. Oh yeah, Saya is Hibachi/Hina's twin sister. Saya: Sister, we've came so far for this. This tragic bloodshed has to end! Why would you do this? Why must you erupt this bloody war against us?! Hibachi: Saya, you wanna know why I'm doing this, to end all of these struggles humanity has to endure for countless years? Ever since I've been trapped in that damn chamber, "I have a dream." Saya: Dream? What dream? Hibachi: My "dream!" That one day, humanity and machines will control their own destiny. *As Hibachi explains about her goal, she begins to shower the your ship, Type-S, and Saya with a massive barrage of her own bullets like crazy* Hibachi: A land of the truly free, damnit. A nation of machinery, not CAVEmen. Ruled by independence, not slavery! Where the law changes to suit the individual, not the other way around. Where power and rightfulness are back to where they belong: in the hands of TRUE humanity! Where every man and woman is frre to think - to act - for themselves! Fuck all these limp-dick Donpachi Corp. members and chickenshit Element Dolls. Fuck this 24/7 internet spew of arcade and bullet hell bullshit. Fuck whoever put me into stagnant pain. Fuck this project. Fuck all of it! This world is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it -- we need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. BURN IT ALL DOWN! And from the ashes a brighter future will be born. Evolved, but untamed! The weak will be purged, and the strongest will thrive -- free to live as they see fit. They'll make this world great again! Saya: What the heck are you talking about... Hibachi: You still don't get it. I'm using war to end this futile struggle... so I can end war with machines! In my new paradise, people will die and kill for what they BELIEVE! Not for money. Not for energy. Not for what they've told is right. Every man, every machines, including us will be free to fight for their own wars! So... what do you think?
