Of all the videos I have explored for inspiration YOU ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ONE. U R SO DAMN TALENTED. I LOVE UR ART MAN. THIS SCROLL IS AWSUM. I AM NOW WORKING ON A TOMBSTONE THAT I WANTED TO MAKE WITH A TV BOX THE TOMB STONE IS PRETTY BIG 😂 BUT I DO NOT KNOW WHETHER TO USE GLUE OR PAPER MACHE MIX ANY IDEAS ? I WAS ALSO THINKING OF PAPER TOWELS FOR LESS WAIT SO THE BOX WON'T CAVE IN. U R AWSUM DUDE
I just recently subscribed to your channel and I have to say that you have an incredible talent. I love the stuff you make . Ur stuff is WICKEDLY BEAUTIFUL
Very nice job . love the design. All the little skulls are a fantastic touch. i'd use it as an indoor display tho . If you are only planning on a season or two outside thats fine but moisture will leak into your cardboard even with waterproofing and it will either mold or sink in on itself . XPS foam is what is commonly used and a bit pricey but it lasts years and years . Ask some construction places if they have scraps for free . I have some stones that are over 18 years old made out of it (just carved and acrylic craft painted , no waterproofing or top coat ) . They have held up thru every sort of weather imaginable and 3 moves. if you dont mind seeing the pvc on the back you could get away with using the 1/2 inch thickness of it. Gorilla glue the pvc on and cover with some spray foam to hide and secure them, paint over it if you want . a 4x8 ft piece yeilds 6-10 stones plus whatever scraps can be glued together and carved into another stone. I have at least 3 like that --my fav being patches the dog..lol .......old stones have cracks anyway .....good luck and keep creating....btw the foam isaddictive to use because you can make one so fast .
cool idea ...i didnt notice if you put any supports when connecting the base to the upright. a few small pegs of dowel rod holding both together along with the glue would hold it really well.....or just use a longer peg and you can take it apart to store it flatter.
my suggestion will only be a base paint on the hand before the clothes. The black is nice put a bit too uniform. The use of drybrush could help with the "dirty look". That could help pass it from a 8/10 to a 8.5/10. I'll do something like that soon and let you know how it turn. Really good job ! I liked the whole video ! and will watch more (yes I subscribe)
OMG 😲 😱! I'm starting my Halloween projects and wanted to build a tombstone of this shape and this is absolutely 💯 perfect and doable. I have the skulls, cardboard, pvc on hand. I'm excited to start this one. THANK YOU 😊 new subscriber
may i suggest XPS insulation board...you can cut it to any shape you want pretty easily (i use an exacto knife on the 1/2 inch ..tho 2 in better for tombstones) ... and all you have to do is embellish it and paint it with acrylic craft or non oil based house paint. if you want texture add some sand to your paint. you can also carve it. i have well over 50 tombstones and there are some very bizarre shapes that i would have never been able to make with cardboard....some are over 18 yrs old and just needed touched up this year . Its a little pricey $50 a 4x8 ft sheet but you get between 6-10 out of it depending on size and shape out of it and the scraps can be glued together for another stone... it lasts forever..literally , its foam ..lol oh and way faster drying time for the paint. obviously use what you have and can afford but i am all for saving time and energy . These would be good for indoor displays to avoid mold build up inside (thru the pvc)
Great idea... I keep my good size delivery boxes for Halloween projects. I'd add some weight inside like sand in zip bags or something to keep it from falling 😉
Wow! Awesome! Great idea... now, who can I con into drinking giant bottles of milk for the next year? Yes... I know... I drink milk, but I can't lift the bottles 😣
@@hauntedcorner6570 This is amazing news! About two years ago I stopped doing art, but when I discovered your channel it got me back into it. The eye lichen video was the first I saw, Labyrinth is one of my all time favorite movies. Glad to know you're returning! Take your time! 🌟:)

Well it depends on what you are trying to connect to duck tape. Paper mache if it is big enough you can go around the duck tape. Hot glue sticks well enough but hot glue is always a bit easy to break off. You can always add white glue to paper mache mix to make it stick better. If you are trying to stick the concrete mix there is something called thin set mortar admix which makes the concrete stick to anything.
Great demonstration. I like the space between the walls for the actors. Do you need to anchor the walls or are they heavy enough not to move much on their own?
