One of my favorite things to do is to visit downtowns and explore what they have to offer. Walking down a beach and sitting by a river is good for the soul. Going on cruises and visiting theme parks are fun favorites too!
I usually tag along with the hubs as he visits car shows and car museums. Visiting the Zoo and Aquariums are always fun because the animals are so unpredictable. I love to laugh ,and am usually smiling. I do have a strong southern accent so..... be nice! (haha)

If your grandkids like animals, cowboys and the mountain coasters, they will love it. I loved the coaster and the chair lift. I used to be so afraid of those.
I used to go to that with my dad also. It wasn’t as wild as the Rod Run. They still show up a week before because we always go early and there is alot of the type of cars that used to be at Shades.
Just about everywhere there has done away with their tent sites plus it's getting to hard on my Dad to help set it up. I think we will be at the Rod Run in September just for the day and then go for the weekend next year at the F100 Show
Camping is fun! We used to tent camp when our kids were little but haven’t done that in a long long time. This place was very nice but I can’t imagine what the rates are during The Rod Run. Prices seem to be a little bit higher that weekend. Hope you guys have great weather that weekend.
Me too! The hubs almost turned his bench over by sitting on the very end. (yikes!) I was backed up to one of the support poles so I could lean back but it wasn’t the most comfy.
What’s funny is, we saw this one in Georgia and a week or so later we were visiting Fort Payne, Alabama at their Sunset Cruise in and someone had one of these and also an Officer Barney Fife! He sounded and looked just like him and the car was awesome! It had a few more bells and whistles than this one. I didn’t do a short because I was so taken with Barney! Haha It is in the video tho.
It is a nice place. We enjoyed the car cruise in there. We had just left one in Rocky Face that it is from West Side Cruisers, it was a great car show and hope to get to attend their next one.
Definitely want to go to this car show. My Dad and me usually go to the shows in Pigeon Forge because it's only about 3 hours away from home. Been enjoying the other RU-vid channel out also.
