So glad to see a video from you again. Even though you didn't put out a large library of videos, you're my favorite channel. Hope you put out more content.
aguila super extra is not subsonic , its hypersonic 1,255 fps , what you shot may have been aguila subsonic which flies at 1,034 fps. and if you use a rubber barrel dampener you can narrow almost any ammo to a smaller group! including the aguila super extra.
Have the Bergara B14r as a trainer and I may get the RPR for a second trainer. (I have the RPR in .308) my friend wanted to try his hand a precision rimfire but did not want to spend a lot of money and I made a list of criteria for him go through. This one checked all his boxes plus a couple. I left the scope up to him lol. I gave him 4 as a base to start from but he will have to choose what fits him.
Just bought another. On auction site. Brand new. $458 delivered. Glad I watched your videos. Plus reviews on Snipers Hide on this scope were extremely positive. Affordable duty grade for LE.
I have a spare 3-9X Athlon BDC scope laying around that is calibrated based on a 1250fps MV. Zero'd at 50 yards the holdover subtensions are 75, 100, 125, and 150 yards. As soon as I get another set of rings I'm going to install it and then fine tune my reloaded ammo to exactly a 1250fps MV and see how well it performs on the marks. Could be interesting.
Wish I had watched your video before "wasting" hours of my life watching content that just didn't hit the mark for what I was interested in. It's nearly impossible to find any dealer that carries the high tech Match Grade imported 22LR ammo in my area. So this was a perfect resource for alternatives. Great job putting this together and my what a perfect "range" you have. How big are your catfish and bass? LOL Thanks again.
Bro. I would have thumbed up but that intro screeching was absolutely irritating. Sorry. I recommend ditching that garbage. About blew out my fking earbuds.
Excuse me.if I'm wrong but doesnt this rifle absolutely come ready for a bipod? That what m lok is for. I think you misspoke. You said you had to add m lok to mount the bipod. Did you mean you had to add a pic rail? Just making sure before I buy this. But it's my understanding m lok is just modern day pic rail. All you had to do was buy an m lok bipod. I could be wrong though and that's why I'm asking. Want to make sure this purchase is one I absolutely want to make before I make it. Thank you!
If you have or buy an M-Lok Bipod you just need to attach it to the handguard. If you have a bipod that is picatinny then you need to buy a short M-Lok to Picatinny converter and install that on the handguard, then add your pica bipod. That is what I had to do the other day with my new RPR.
Hii, at 3:25 u mention a spring loaded piece, i just dissasembly mine and have no such a thing, worth mentioning since i bought it have been having failures to shoot. Could it be? Can still work without that spring?
I got it out after taking the trigger Assembly out I just had to go further I the video. Thank you so much for posting this video you helped me immensely 😊
OK, so me being a dumba* apparently pulled the elevation cap all the way off. now very little movement. would bleeding it as you did for the windage help? I'll try that.
in my experience mil-spec trigger kits are usually in the 6-8+lb range. My usual fix is the JP enhanced reliability spring kit. Intended to take 2lb off your current trigger pull, but still set off mil-spec hard primers. All for just over 10 dollars, best bang for your buck IMHO. Never looked at the CMC triggers in depth, but for $190ish, I would expect better than a stamped stainless sheet metal housing.
740 and 709 slim excellent pocket carry and back up pistol for my EDC 357 sig or my 357 magnum, but also have various calibers and pistols in combat, compact and subcompacts size, and spare magazines or speed loaders are also a good choice and a minimum of 2
Nice video, it appears Ruger put some real thought into that rifle appreciate you sharing that. It be cool to see them make that buffer tube into a hydraulic piston (recoil reducer).
Thank you for the videos. Can the 12ga pump trigger assembly be used on the semi automatic MPA? The MPA bolt release is faulty and can cause a shell to get stuck between it and the carrier when loading shells.
