I dont like ketchup with eggs Although in my custom omelette, I like putting onions and ripe tomatoes, a dash of vinegar, corn syrup sauce with salt, spice, garlic and onion powder
I’m gonna be the buzzkill here and say I’m not a fan of this new format. It worked previously for the hopium/copium bit, but I don’t think any of the images here added anything to the original scene.
A couple people unironically calling Steins Gate good in the comments. No, fam. Just no. Okabe is an impossible character to relate to thanks to his weakly (and far too late) explained chuunibyou bullshit. I actually pushed through this damn thing, and I was *rooting* for him to die even after he had to drop his stupid act because there's no explanation why he acts that way around *everyone* instead of just Mayuri *all the time*. And that's just its biggest problem. Signed, a weeb with an alternative position.
Easy answer is that it just became a habit to him after all this time. I mean he’s been doing this act for mayuri for, what, 5 years? Anyone would slip into habit at that point, plus it’s something he clearly enjoys doing so why not As for a more complex answer it’s as much of a solution for mayuri’s deep depression as a child as it is a coping mechanism for Okabe. Any time he feels insecure about his real self he only falls deeper into the Hououin persona as a defense mechanism, trying to be something he isn’t in order to keep himself happy. This is even stated outright with him explaining why he gives Kurisu all of the stupid names and it’s because he was too embarrassed to even say her name directly to her because of just how inferior to her he felt. Chuuni characters aren’t for everyone, I know that, but acting like the mad scientist persona is all he has going for him, whether that be good or bad, is just in bad faith. The mad scientist isn’t meant to be relatable, that’s kind of the point lmao. That’s why everyone around him is annoyed by this persona. You’re meant to relate to the person behind that and at least empathize why he might delve into these tendencies Idk that was kinda rambly. If you just don’t like steins gate that’s cool, just say that instead of claiming it’s impossible for you to see how other people think it’s good lol
@@purplegeno8179yeah, it's really not hard to comprehend, to the point every 8th grader did that, idk why some people find it annoying unrelatable or unrealistic
Yes, the game and anime that is widely known to be one of best sci fi anime thrillers of all time is bad. And the quirky funny scientist character is the reason for it being bad. Despite some people liking admittedly stupid characters or finding them interesting to analyze. You can have an alternate opinion, you're just wrong in a grander scope of things and clearly biased. Which all opinions are, biased. But to say that the biased thoughts of people who say it's good, in many of these comments (but still just one side) isn't right next to yours simply shows an inflated sense of importance. That you didn't explain your argument on why it's bad well enough to have. Some people don't need self inserts either btw and don't have to relate to a character. Pathos you lack. Signed "Who even signs comments pretentious douche."
Nah fam, just nah. Imagine calling someone impossible to relate to when you wish for a traumatized young man struggling to keep his friends safe to die for having an annoying coping mechanism.
@@relic5752 Hell yeah, man. You haven't suffered through media until you've wished for the painful death of a fictional character you've come to despise. What is this high horse reframing?
All of this did not compute. Despite everything, it's a rather fun/funny game and he played (and keeps playing) way worse games, not just plot-wise. To this day, I really have no idea why he went so far with this specific tittle.
I don't know any context for this video, RU-vid randomly recommended it. I think he was bullied by chat to read Steins;Gate or something. But I was entertqind for this minute, great video :V
The bit that he took too far. I never unsubbed, but I did stop watching after this. It was a bit funny, but ultimately it was just a grown man having a temper tantrum.
U should never take the dude seriously. He has REALLY bad takes. Have you heard his opinions on Pixar movies? The only thing he’s really entertaining for is laughing at everything. He’s like a baby and dangling keys, so the pure joy he gets from literal nothing is entertaining. But other than that? Don’t expect any actually intelligent takes from him regarding anything. This bit was just silly. It was a bit egotistical of him to assume that ppl care THAT much about him playing an anime game, esp with his terrible takes, but it’s goofy and far from the worst he’s ever said. Also, I do find it a bit annoying when ppl act like this. Do what you want, don’t make a big stink about it.
