The straight tower was actually correcting a hazard and preventing its guaranteed eventual fall. Superman was more status quo than disaster-prevention.
From 0:52-0:54, what was that tower ceramic shop guy trying to do? Was he trying to knock down all the ceramic towers off the shelf out of anger that Superman caused the tower to lean again after the guy finished making the towers straight by closing up permanently out of anger because of Superman? Or was Superman standing on top of the shop and he was hitting the shop to get Superman off? (As he was hitting the shop, he looked like he was looking at Superman standing on the shop but of course, if he hit the shop with the broom if Superman was standing on it, the guy would have broke both of his arms with Superman standing on the shop).

I remember the special effects on this were WAY ahead of its time, especially for a TV show. Very surprised that it didn’t get picked up. For nostalgia sake, I looked these guys up. The Simon McCorkindale (Manimal) passed away in 2010. Melody Anderson retired from acting and became a social worker. Michael D Roberts’ last credits are from 2018 but seems active in acting.
I’ve only just realised that the actor playing the leaning tower of pisa tradesman, is john bluthall who played Frank from The Vicar of dibley. How did I not know this before 😮😮😮
Manimal was absolutely amazing.....as a kid watching Jonathan transform into the Black Panther 🐆 or Maybe even eagle 🦅 was awesome.....they need to bring that show back 💪🏾💯💯💯💯💯
