@@bobbymalta73 great question! The size of the screen actually has nothing to do with the drawing size 😉 what does matter is the device’s camera and how high you hold the phone. The higher the phone the more area you can see. Check out some of our other videos on creating larger artwork.
Da Vinci Eye: AR Art Projector uses augmented reality to overlay an image into your drawing surface through your pone screen. It is the same idea and Pokémon Go.
I just bought the app a few days ago, so I'm still playing with/experimenting with it. So far, it's been incredible and will become a mainstay of much of my art. There are also a bunch of "features" that it has which will make my drawings/paintings even better. It cost me something like $29 US, but that isn't much considering what you can do with it.
I use Apple’s force quit command almost every hour of the day in order to shut down Apple Music. I really wonder why the app can’t just be deleted. I am a composer and I am sure many other creatives, like myself, have no interest in being force-fed commercial garbage.
Im using da vinci on my android phone and mural maker on my ipad. But they both don't seem to connect for the live stream. Do both need to be apple devices?
The video feature is great. But is there a way to crop out that cup? It would be very distracting to post on Instagram since you don't have much canvas space.
Well, I've been reading up on all this AR drawing stuff (and the 'mechanical' comparative mirror and 'Tim's Vermeer' stuff and I've decided on Da Vinci Eye to start my Art 'Career' at 68-1/2 years old. Wish me luck! (Also, wish me luck in figuring out how to buy the app for Android. I couldn't seem to figure it out until I was at Staples earlier today and found they sell 'gift cards' for "Google Play." I was hesitant about sending my credit card info to Google and then worry about it getting hacked and having a bunch of credit fraud and identity theft to deal with. If the pre-paid Google Play card works it should be a safe(er) transaction and the potential loss can only be the unused amount on the card. I really can't wait to get started with this app!
Hi, I’m an Apple user here. So it will record what I drawn and not what om the screen right? And the quality is will be same like recording with the Apple camera? Thank you 😊
If we didn't have to pay for rent and food, it would be free. We are also very passionate about the work we put into this, making sure everything works well on old and new tech, it is a full-time job. We are a small business we do everything ourselves.
@@davincieye thanks for reply i understand I know that it is a small business but it will grow bigger iam sorry 😔i ask it for free i only trying to get this for free sorry for that and I would buy it when I have budget sorry for everything I Hope this grows bigger and bigger 🙂
I've only used it for a couple of drawings but the app does exactly what he says it does and it works very well. I do have a suggestion. I find the classic mode rather than the AR mode works most solidly. It would be nice if you could combine these two modes, in that the basic problem with drawing large is that you have to manually re-align the images a number of times. It would be nice if you could use the AR anchor to realign the image but then switch back to classic mode.
This does not work it just closes the window and when i open the app it right to back where it was like it was still running in background. Is there any way to close the app like android lets me?
I like your comment. But Tracing does not make you a printer, many famous artists have traced since 1400s, Leonardo DaVinci is one of them. Tools like Camera Lucida, and Camera Obscura have been around for centuries.
