Thank you so much!!! I need a mat TODAY and Wal-Mart is the closest store as I live in the country!! They only have Cricut mats so this ticks has saved the day!!🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the video! I have all the materials to make these. Will these pressing pillows eliminate the pressure lines when doing sublimation or vinyl shirts? Do you have a video of you pressing any? Also for pressing adult shirts what size should you make the pressing pillow? Thanks
No because this is not a stretch table cloth. If you’re using one of the ones that stretches, I advise you to use a front/back runner that drapes over the stretch one to add your logo.
Thank you so much! How to save a new gradient was not clear to me. You showed it perfectly, when many others explaining the fill panel glossed over this vital step.
Yep, I iron the whole thing flat (with an old fashioned iron!) before folding, especially if I'm giving them as gifts, I know, it's time consuming, but that's just me. Those are really nice though, great job!
At the time of this video I was using a FancierStudio 16x24 heat press. It was a great press! Then I went to the StarCraft Mint press and now I’m using the HTVRONT Auto Heat press and it’s my favorite out of all of them. So much easier on my arm when doing lots of presses at a time. amzn.to/48UVnOx amzn.to/422knRF
It may help to sand the area a little first. It also helps to leave it untouched for 48+ hours after application to allow the pressure sensitive adhesive set.
I probably could have pulled it apart after removing all the staples but once I reattached the canvas, it holds together just fine. You can leave them in if you want!
Thank you, you're a life saver! I bought a set of deTAPE mats as they were a lot cheaper, but they're metric, and I was having to align my material over the numbers, as a workaround. Then I was looking to see if you could adjust the margins of the mat in the software and stumbled on your video. Such an easy solution, plus it means that your adhesive goes to the edge of the material, instead of your material overhanging the adhesive and risk it getting crumpled. Thank you so much! 😍
You could use stencils and paint if you wanted, I’ve found the HTV process much easier and less finicky for my personal tastes but I know others love it! Absolutely do whatever method works best for you!
Excellent tutorial! I needed a refresher as I've not used the etching abilities for quite a while and you did a very thorough and complete presentation that is great for beginner or seasoned Silhouetter! Tyfs! 😊
Wait, what did you do at the very, very beginning to make the outlines black? That's the step I can't figure out. Mine wants to keep making all the images inside the borders black, but I want the outline black, just like you did at the very beginning. You didn't explain that step, and I can't figure out what you're clicking on.
I bought a 3 pack of Nicapa mats on Amazon for my Cameo 4, and noticed it was larger and the blade cut into the top of it with the test function. Since it is larger than the Silhouette mat, I will try cutting it down like you did in this video! Thanks.
How do you know if it's in correctly? The blade that comes with the silhouetter has that black line that fits precisely into the slot so you know the blade is facing the right way. How can you tell on the CB09?
It’s a swivel blade, it rotates freely inside the holder and drags depending on the direction of the cut, there’s no right or wrong way to insert it into the silhouette (same with the silhouette blade - it’s easy to instruct that the fin faces forward but it’s not necessary for proper use).
I know this is an old post, but I was wondering where I can locate one of those SAW BLADE blanks? I can't seem to locate one for a project I'm building for my step-father's bday. I don't have access to a laser cutter to make my own (yet). Thanks!
@@ElleBeeCreates Thank you! .. Subscribed .. and I don't see a BUY COFFEE so when my Cameo 4 gets here, I'll upgrade the software using your link so you hopefully get credit back. Keep up the great work!!!! Tim N.
do you think this would work on a polyethylene tent wall? trying to get set up for my candle events and want to swindle my way around paying $400+ for a customized tent 😅
PE is plastic and has a pretty low melting point (LDPE as low as 105°C) so it would be a risky endeavor to me personally. Rather then risk it, I would suggest getting a blank vinyl banner and applying Adhesive Vinyl to it and hanging it from the top beams of the tent. This also future proofs your tent (in event of rebranding or upgrading and wanting to sell off the old tent), or allows it to be used for other reasons. You can get a 2’x4’ banner for about $10, or spend some more and order one professionally printed from somewhere like VistaPrint. Both options for sure save you from spending so much on a customized tent.
WOW! Awesome so glad I found this video as I have been thinking that you could make your own heat pillows, thank you thank so much for sharing this wonderful idea! Liz x Subscribe to your channel!
That super quiet, please check your audio levels before uploading. I can see on levels that is only 25% volume of what you supposed to use for a baseline (so user wouldn't rock the volume up to the max)
Thank you!! Thank you!! I just switched from a cricut to a silhouette and i have some brand new cricut mats that I'd like to use. Definitely trying this tomorrow 💖
Greetings, please I need help when I change the mat size to 12" x 24" and put the material in 12" x 24" it only cuts half the job as if it were in 12: x 12" it does not change to 12" x material 24", I hope your help Thank you
@@ElleBeeCreates Yes, anyway. I eliminate the red line that indicates how far it is going to cut, the only way it eliminates the line is when I select not to cut with mat perl, I am worried that it cuts too low and suffers from the blade,
