This channel is for clients and potential clients to see actual properties for sale past and present in video-walkthrough form! Our niche market is vacation rentals and this channel will emphasize not only that but also waterfront properties, flip houses, before and after videos throughout the flip process, and much more.
A surreal video to watch, my family spent many summers there with 701 being the unit we always stayed in. Good memories, who knows where the time goes?
Owner could have spent $100 and got enough hinges and door handles to fix most of that. I would really not have an issue buying that house (pending a solid inspection of the electrical and AC) as I would have sanded down those upstairs bathroom walls and repainted, then removed that backsplash in the kitchen and put up something much nicer.
Are you serious? Did you even look at the important items? If you were paid for this inspection and ignored foundation, roof, septic system, insulation, heat and air system, plumbing, and wiring, you should refund your fee. Maybe its time to have real inspectors inspect the inspectors.
I have a home I am looking to sell when I get some work finalized. Problem is..I've run out of money. The house will be safe and sound and clean..but it won't be as pretty as I had planned. Just as this house shown, my house will be great for someone to pick up for less.. and can finish what I am unable to.
All the shades shut...so people don't see its vacant and break in? I love how you're telling this guy off for being uninformed or knowing better, than say something stupid like that.
I noticed that there was a lot of people commenting on here that these are minor gripes and sure, a lot of this is cosmetic, but the point is if you want to sell a property for top dollar, you need to at least try to make it look finished so I beleive the sarcasm is justified. Whatever they were asking, if I was even considering making an offer, I would low ball it big time for this incompetence but only after I got a proper house inspection. If there are this many obvious cosmetic flaws, what is hidden underneath!?!
Thank you for this video. I have great memories of Villa Madeira. We went on vacation every year with my 3 children . They’re all grown up now and seeing this video made me go back in time 😢. I loved it and they loved it too ! ❤
BTW, in the beginning of the video you showed the front . There’s a small building with a striped sunscreen which looked just the same as 18 years ago. It was a candy store back then ! So wonderful to see again.
Why the sarcasm for an 'agent/owner' flipped property? I only ask because I am a prospective buyer looking at a flipped agent/owner property. I've already noticed that downspouts are completely incorrect. We had a recent rain storm and because there is no sump pump or proper drainage system in the home, the crawl space got completely flooded. Thoughts? Should I stay away? Thank you!!
Flip homes are done on the cheap 99 percent of the time unless it’s some fancy mansion I would never buy a flip house I would rather buy a house that needs a lot of work
I have told my kids as they are out looking for their first house most of the time I will not recommend buying a house from a flipper. There are great people out there that know what they are doing but honestly the majority of flippers don’t know what they are doing. Most of the buyers are so amped up in a competing market they go in with blinders as in this video if it’s this bad cosmetically can’t imagine how the systems are in the house. As a former licensed real estate agent I would see it all to often. I would rather have a house 60 years old in a original but maintained condition then something that was covered up I’ve also been around most phases of construction and maintenance for the last 40 years I’ve seen such crappy work on 5 million dollar houses that were new. If you don’t know what to look for find someone that does before you buy.
Toilets were called stools for a very long time, I don’t know why, but that’s all my parents called them, and they were born in 1924… however, I’ve always called them toilets. 😆
Exactly like all the things he mentioned are cosmetic things. Once you move in you can change. If you got a good deal fix all those little things yourself dude
He's in the wrong business. Listening to his comments, it sounds like someone ran over his dog or something. He should watch house flipping shows, not do them. He's too whiney to actually deal with the stress of flipping a house, even one in great shape like this one. My advice is he should go to his safe space, have his special someone fix him some hot coco, and he can watch cartoons all day. He is not equipped for house flipping.
As a home inspector, I can tell you that the unpainted doors are the least of the troubles in that house. I'd really like to take a look at the electrical panel, heating and air conditioning systems, roof, attic and crawl space.
Haha. It looks like a bad neighborhood, the guy knows no one cares around there, he gave them appliances, cheap floor, toilet, a sliding door, they get pre-approved, and check goes to the guy willing to 1/2 effort. That's a 260k house in 2022. Thanks covid and all the nonsense that came with it.
Whining the entire video. The home is in far better shape than most flips. Put your big boy pants on and fix what you don't like. Or call it a day and head back to your safe space. But please stop whining!
100% cosmetic issues, clearly a dumb remodel. If that's the worst of it (no mold, no moisture damage, no structural or insect issues, good electrical, etc.) then the house could be a bargain for yet another cosmetic remodel flip!
