I've always thought of Count Bleck as the personification of grief. Without explaining too much, he sporadically goes between denial, depression, anger, and bargaining. That is until the end of the game when he finally reaches acceptance. It is worth mentioning that the stages are not always in the same order that we think of them in. As such, he does not necessarily go through those phases in a particular order.
Honestly, I miss zelda games like this BOTW/TOTK are great games but I miss the old formula. This was my first Zelda game, which my dad got with a wii. Never had an N64 and windwaker never appealed to me at the time on the GC. TP will always hold a place in my heart for that alone but it's just a fantastic game. It led me to OOT on the 3DS and since then I've played them all now bar WW (which I'm currently playing through). Excellent video as well. You definitely deserve more views and subs.
Had recently seen a vid saying TP was bad, followed by this as a recommendation Listened to both, heard similar complaints at some moments, but I still think the other dude never gave the game a chance and just looked only for negatives
I really enjoyed this video, but I feel like the title is a bit misleading. It’s mostly just you summarizing what happens in the game; there is very little commentary. And there is no explanation why this game is a masterpiece. Otherwise it’s a good video. If anyone wants to see a video that actually explains why TP is a masterpiece, I suggest InternetPitstop’s video on twilight princess.
51:35 let’s take shattering the a heap of sand. If you have one grain of sand, it’s not a heap. When you have several grains of sand you have a heap. At what point does it become a heap? Like the heap at what point does the mirror become shattered?
I played this game about 3 or 4 years ago and i really loved it. This was the last game on my Wii that i played before the 1 and 2 buttons of my wiimote stopped working, the story, the characters and the gameplay were amazing to me. I'm glad there are people who also apreciate this game, it was different from the previous games, sure, but different in a well executed way (unlike the next 2 paper mario games).
The summary of the game was pretty nice and I liked the jokes you threw in but your section answering the title of the video was like... 3 minutes lol. I suppose it wasn't just a run down of the story, you did leave some things out but it was more of a recap of the game rather than answering "Why it's so memorable" or even "how it's a masterpiece"
Enjoy ed the video for sure I wasn’t into the humor at first but I liked it the longer it went on bc I stopped taking you so seriously lol. Truly one of the best games of all time and best Zelda game to me❤
I love this game so much. It was my childhood, staying up late to watch my dad play it while waiting for my mom to come home from her night shifts. My entire phone is themed on this. Midna notification sounds to the point where my father in law pointed out how her giggles creep him out, Zelda stickers, oot lanyard charm that I turned into a phone charm, songs from a RU-vidr piecing together the hero of time's missing story as ringtones, and art for my: lock screen, home screen, and even my keyboard. This game has impacted me so much and its still one of my all time favorite games, but I do prefer the 11 volume manga more because even though it may not be seen as canon, it just builds upon so much more to the game and has made emotional scenes Hurt you even more. Its beautiful and I will forever love this game. I bought it for my husband for his birthday so I can watch him play it so I can, in a sense, have a fresh start through his eyes. If they ever remake this game for the switch, I will buy it as soon as it comes out. To me, this will always be the best Zelda game.
Is not bad game but is a bit to continuity. Feels like Ocarina of Time as much as 90% in art style and gameplay and the tease that Zelda would have more participation and even fight with a sword was just smokescreen. Wind Waker just happened to be released in bad times
8:37 that says uses 12 blocks on the memory card. I don't have wind waker but have twilight princess gamecube japanese version and on the bottom left it has a CERO rating of B, aimed at users 12 and up, so the same as the US i guess
No amount of nostalgia is going to make this game better than mediocre at best. It’s the biggest case of "style over substance" in the entire franchise.
@@vadoslink446 though it doesn’t bring in a whole lot of new lore or anything it was beautiful and the music to the 3d games is always the most nostalgic part of the Zelda series to me and tp definitely had an amazing ost I just miss the old dungeon system 🥲
@@mikehinton6860 I wouldn't call the game beautiful tbh. It's probably my least favorite artstyle of the entire franchise. Everything and everyone looks so brown and dirty. And while I think some of TP's dungeons were great, others were really bad. Ones like Goron Mines or City in the Sky just dragged on for what feels like forever and I think items in general quickly become useless outside of their dungeons. That's what I mean by style over substance. The spinner is a really fun item in its dungeon, but outside of it, it lacks utility and just collects dust in the inventory. Bosses all look super intimidating, but they all follow the ridiculously obvious "Hit weakpoint with dungeon item > sword spam > repeat 3 times" and they don't deal any damage. The hidden skills look really fancy and dynamic, but the enemies aren't designed around these skills, which makes them feel pointless etc. It just feels really hollow. As if their main goal was to not make a good game, but instead to simply please the people who disliked WW for its aesthetic.
@@vadoslink446 i myself loved the dark and gritty look I love like the berserk series and darker subjects in general which is why I like MM you are definitely right it was a shell on a very toddleresk fighting system
@@GalekC lmaoooo right? it was my favorite zelda game the day it released. still is. it was an absolute love letter to us fans that waited a decade for a zelda that not only resembled the spaceworld tech demo, but absolutely pushed the gamecube to its limits.
43:05 Seriously, this is a skill issue, Dude. NO, it doesn't use directional sound, all you need to do is listen to the horn, which actually makes the noise louder when you're closer, come on, I did it when I was 8. 43:46 Ok this is fine, It actually made me insane the First time, I remeber that I literally cried xDDDD IT WAS TWO HOURS
First a link to the past was my favorite, when I was a kid. Then I played majoras mask and it was my favorite for a long time. But when twilight princess came out it immediately became my favorite and they have yet to make a Zelda game since that can replace it as my favorite. I love it so much.
51:00 The reason why the mirror only broke in 4 pieces was stated in the game!!! Zant wasn't powerful enough to shatter the mirror into more than 4 pieces. It also shows that Midna was indeed far more powerful because she could completely shatter the mirror, unlike Zant.
Yes i thought that was obvious especially when midna destroyed it. From the time you find out she was the twilight princess and he usurped the throne it’s even said she was more powerful Then zant
"only the true ruler of the twilight realm can sever the connection between the two worlds" Zant, not being the true ruler of the realm, lacks the ability to fully destroy the twilight mirror and Midna, being the twilight princess, can and does
