Just bought a TM6, subscribed to your channel because of your honesty. It does look to me to be mostly aimed at people with issues (My grandmother couldn't peel a potato with a manual peeler so this would be very useful) so I think it 100% has a market, But probably not for me. The other use it has on the website is for slow cooking, do you know if it actually makes a difference when slow cooking as the normal cover is no longer avialable in the UK
My father bought the orange Thermomix in 1977; he was a Savoy Hotel chef and knew it was the way forward; my family used it until 2010 when it finally retired. Strangely enough, I separately worked for Vorwerk Uk (Kobold division) from 1989 to 1998, I ended up as a branch manager with 40 advisors and loved my time with the company; now, in 2024, I am restarting my career with Vorwerk Thermomix; what a great machine!, looking forward to great things.
I came to the same conclusion before even trying. However, I can see it being very useful for someone who has difficulty using a manual peeler, eg. Bad arthritis, Dupuytrens etc.
Vrolijk Kerstfeest x
When you do a Bol without one the meat becomes tiny little pieces. It should help to stop the break down to a degree but I still think due to cooking times it will still break down a bit. My solution is to pan fry the mince and add to the sauce In the last five mins.
Thank you so much for making this video! You did an EXCELLENT job explaining and demonstrating. Your detail was fantastic!! Very thorough instruction!!
Thanks for the video. Great to see an honest review. I have lots of small potatoes from the allotment which are both hard to clean fully and to peel. How do you think the attachment would work with these potatoes? Btw - I've watched quite a few Thermo videos and yours is one of the best :)
@@jennifermason Thank you for your reply, I took a guess (400g lol) made it with fresh butternut pumpkin, turned out perfect & delicious, first time ever having it. have a wonderful weekend.
I did mine exactly like this and my sliced potatoes stuck to the sides and were still raw, had to cook extra 20min (yes potatoes were suitable for mashing) I will dice next time I think. I'm new to the Tm6 Thermomix world lol. Nearly 70 & still learning. At the end of it all they were delicious.
This is the best and most thorough explanation of TM basics. Just ordered my TM6 and you’ve done a fantastic job explaining the in’s and outs. Greetings from Chicago!
I love this 2 week weight loss program. I also used daily morning enemas and daily nighttime enemas. I added the enemas for colon cleansing to remove the waste stored in the colon.
Thanks for this video. I’ve had my TM6 for almost 9 months and today I seem to have a problem connecting - the error says “Error C625: Online connection, in order to enable search for software updates and Cookidoo login, could not be established”. I’ve tried using a hotspot on my phone but that doesn’t work either. Do you know any workarounds for this - it’s been working fine up to now and nothing has changed, thanks. If you can’t help I will contact Vorwerk directly, thanks so much
Sometimes this fault can happen. Switch off and then at the plug. You can also restore the factory settings. But worse case call customer care. Good luck 🤞🏻
Hi Jennifer Thanks for sharing. Saw a great tip on an Australian Thermomix site, where the Consultant suggests using a cooking ring in the Varoma, to ensure steam can come through.
