Not bad. These K5 GT’s trap 106mph stock according to car and driver testing, it’s pretty impressive. Sounds about considering the numbers What tune are you running? I’m assuming a mild ots tune like mhd on pump gas given the low power numbers listed.
K5 was on a stage 2 tune with internals to match I’m not too knowledgeable on those cars so not exactly sure what was done to it and the bmw was stage 1 at the time intake downpipe and charge pip. K5 is also over 1000lbs lighter than the bmw Currently in stage 2+ mhd ots map but will be going custom with a big boost kit
Sir thats not a racecar... thats a 300 horsepower, 4300 lbs sedan. Even R/Ts have 380 horsepower lol. Why do people that drive normal BMWs think they have the coolest car in the world? Lol nobody else thinks so
I can tell you haven’t spent any time in a normal Bmw because you can’t understand it. As for power, they’re rated at 320hp to the crank and make that closer to the wheels. It’s once you spend $150 on a downpipe and $400 on a tune that you can get 400’s to the wheels on stock turbo. You can make over 600whp with a budget of $2k-2.5k. But that’s not the point in a 4200lb car, it’s the rest of the car that everyone loves. In no way is an R/T comparable
I'm finally lookin do to some bolt on and modding to my f06. I know the charge pipe is huge but im wonderin what process you went through. Just not a lot on the 640 f06 any knowledge would be appreciated
Where are you located? I went to eurofed atlanta and they did a fantastic job all I had to do was research what exactly I wanted and then order the parts then installed everything and made it perfect
I'm in north east pa. Kinda rare for preformance shops or like normal shops that kinda wanna do the jobs. Theres definitely people doing stuff I just haven't found one yet. A friend of mine is a diesel mechanic and before that at a garage for 14 years. Im hoping as far as bolt ons and coils and such we can do it. The car isn't going anywhere still pretty low mileage. Idk if it will happen but if more things come out for the n55 in years to that would be great. Thank you for the reach though. That and more knowledge is always appreciated
@@lukasboraski2729 mhd is a great tuner if your looking for something easy and change able parts wise I’d go vrsf or burger because most if their stuff is plug n play in a way as u just install it and it’s working doesn’t require separate tunes or any of that. I’ve got a burger intake and vrsf dp charge pipe and intercooler with a turbo smart bov and it’s been super easy and reliable lmk if you wanna see some pics or anything I’m more than happy to help other people upgrade their f06 as it took me months to find the things I needed
Thank you this is much appreciated. I actually haven't driven the car in months. I miss it a lot but the roads where I live beat it pretty good. I now have a daily but need brakes and tires to drive the 640. Thats first. The weather is decent it's been a while driving somethin nice. Hopefully this winter ill still have a garage and and get to work on this thing. Thanks again I hope you keep goin with your car. I love this bodyshape. Yes theres a 650 and m6 version. But when I think bmw I think inline 6. Before I bought this I was hyped on the idea of N old volovo inline 6 swap
