It's getting to that point where its gunna be worth updating. I leveled the alt up to be able to do DS2 and Sote. So once those quests are done I could extend it to the elites as well
Did they change the italy boot? I couldnt get it to work and it looks like they made it not catch the big melee guys on that sulphur vent anymore.. maybe im crazy but i swear they changed the map in that spot Also this was my first try in 4 years and i made it to jad and ran out of saras. Also had the healers all spawn behind jad so i had to run around him to get to them with a blow pipe.
lmaooo i spelled the name wrong I was so cooked this morning posting this. I had rec for a little bit at 49s kill. The rng for a 42 second kill tho is not worth it to me LOL.... Not into ruby farming
Seems like people kind of miss the actual point of plugins like this. It isn't necessarily to make the content easier. It's to make certain aspects of the game more consistent in order to shift the focus of the encounter. This plugin makes it so that the skill ceiling is based mostly on a player's mechanical skill rather than being largely based on memorization. Pushing your limits mechanically tends to be more fun than spending hours on hours memorizing wave spawns. For people who play more casually, they can focus on their mechanics and overall game skill rather than needing to spend a bunch of up front time memorizing things. The higher level players get to fully optimize content to focus on maximum potential. This does make it easier in a sense, but it actually opens up the ceiling a bit more and lets you take the content farther with less time spent on the boring stuff. Most of us are adults with lives. Why is pushing the focus of content in a more fun direction a bad thing? The wave guide on a second monitor was also a way to kind of deal with that part of it, but requiring someone to have another monitor or to shrink down their client to split screen in order to play at the same level as other people is a bit unfair.
@@Inscipio yes I agree mostly, but like I said in another comment I think this is specific to fight caves. I would not be happy if they did this for colosseum or inferno.
@@SimoOSRS Yeah there needs to be a line 100%. There is a lot of room for discussion on where the line is, and it opens some interesting conversation about content design intention and what kind of skill floor/ceiling we want on content. Like for colo, a big part of the content is being able to asses a wave as it spawns and figure out how to solve while enemies are moving toward you. They even made it so log out takes you to lobby to prevent wave scouting. This type of plugin would essentially ruin the design of the content. I just hate seeing people complain about certain things saying higher level players want the game easier when the reality is that higher level players want to push the game to its limits, and a lot of these plugins open up new optimizations and methods for efficiency.
tru, i was just trying to see how hard gm time off task was nowadays with gear and plugin changes. rendi kind and settled kind of tackled the no supplies/low combat/restricted account niche so i just tried to do it fast
I mean yeah, some plugins are broken as hell. I think in some situations they're good, and in some they're not. I don't think this plugin existing or not really matters for the vast majority of players and serves as a net positive. The content has reached a threshold where it's easy enough to allow this type of plugin as a "quality of life" buff. But it definitely skates a fine line. If this existed for harder content I would be 100% against its existence.
lmao, it has more uses beyond just going fast though! Makes taking 0 damage possible, as well as finishing combat achievements like the not getting hit by bats or letting the melees heal :) It's good for all skill levels
Elites or updated for 2024? I have a gim I'm working on on the side, doing a completely updated guide for easy > hard for 2024 wouldnt be a bad idea with how much new content got added. DT2, Colosseum, Etc. Or maybe I do a catchup video that reestablishes us at the hard points threshold. Might be time to bond up SimoOSRS again
A dragon spear spec as soon as they spawn in makes taking no hits from the melee brothers MUCH easier. It gives you plenty of time to run to the other side of the coffin, then step out and freeze/entangle them and then finish them off. You can run around the coffin to get them stuck on the coffin the opposite way (if they were stuck vertically across, you can then get them stuck horizontally across) if you can't dps them down in one freeze/entangle.
Great video dude, it's hard for me to admit but I might've gotten KO'd at DKS trying to get them off tick... Even after all the much harder pvm I've been doing lol
they drop really quick over first 3 days, but stabilized around 1:7 for a couple days after then were about 1:6 and 1:5 for a long time. then 1:3 the last couple days. I made overall about 500m 07 by the end of that dmm, i just stopped recording after this cuz I felt like I wasnt getting any more fun content.
No I had a work contract that was eating up like 50-60hrs a week and I really just wasnt playing runescape during it. That contract is over now though so I'll be uploading again c:
I can’t complete the verzik no bounce one cause it keeps spawning the purple crab which heals her ): I learned how to prevent the bounce but if I focus on killing the crab ill get bounced
Thank you so much for this series! I'm looking to get the Ghnommal Hilt for the God Wars teles but am no hardcore pvmer so this is very much up my alley.
