Thank you for this video. I recently got my kids started on Scratch and they love it. Their tutor also recommended a book "Learn to Code 4 Kids With Scratch" by Oje Ebhota, which we have found so so useful, even I have found it so easy to follow with all the illustrations and projects, and most importantly the kids love it.
I was over whelm with the adult beginner introduction to coding. I understand the to til the computer steps, but it what the letters mean . For example, does s+7 = means seven steps? I am a 40 years old woman whom never had coding in school. Adult beginners version does not give detail on what the computer lanuage . Why we have to have the letters? What the letters stand for?

Make sure you follow all the steps. Try and find the place where your code isn't working and check that it is the same as the instructions. We all make mistakes and they're a great chance to learn!
