I wonder if Blackheath is suffering the same fate as diminished coastal towns that have become unaffordable because people on city incomes buy the properties as negative gearing tax break and second income generators... So the town is now devoid of locals in the off seasons and overtaken by tourists in holiday rentals over holidays and long weekends? 😳🙂↕️
Thank you! We are in another country now but feel free to visit our website and fill out our ‘Get Featured’ form. If it tickles our fancy the next time we are in Bali, we will be in touch. 🙂
As soon as we saw this online we knew we had to try film it and thankfully the host opened his doors to us. Very grateful. Love this home. Thanks for watching! 😊
I don't know what happens with these Architects here in NZ the lounge spaces are mostly stupid and bedrooms are small and does not have well distributed spaces specially in 3 bedroom houses and the general quality of the houses are really shitty in NZ compared to US and in USA is much much affordable... and people still think that you are getting the top notch house here in NZ. Definitely the views here are amazing but do not justify the shitty quality houses.
This has better finishings than most houses in Bali have, cozy and unique despite the waste of second floor space from the ceiling height, but the main reason I would not live in a home like that is the lack of a proper garden where you can play soccer with kids, feel the grass under your feet, sunlounge and were dogs can go to the toilet. Not everybody wants a garden, but many do and it gets really expensive in Bali to find an affordable house with a decent garden. The problem of high land prices results in developers squeezing in as many houses, rooms and living areas as possible while there is often no free green area left. But design is much more than what there is, it's what there isn't which creates a balance. High walls create a prison feeling, high plants not. Great finishings though!
Hi there thanks for your message. As we mentioned you can find the booking links in the description box below the video. Alternatively if your device doesn’t allow for that, you can Google search ‘ House of Winds Bali. Thanks
@@findthePerfectPlace Thanks, I saw that but you need to fill out forms & put dates in before you know if you can afford it which wastes time if not in your budget.
Beautiful indeed! I love all of rhe indoor/outdoor vibes! But sometimes I do wonder if some architects forget that bedroom = tired and groggy. Did you ever have concerns navigating that walkway in the mornings, stunning as it is?
Hey thanks for watching! We didn't have any concerns at all about that. It is a pretty wide walkway so I guess for that reason it never crossed our minds now to think of it. But to see and experience this stay in person is really something special. Have a lovely day! ☺
Hello Pedro, everyone’s perfect place sure is different. ☺️ Everyone has the freedom of choice to select the correct perfect place for them. Just like everyone has the freedom of choice around what content they consume online. We understand you find our content really boring. It’s not for everyone and we are ok with that. We hope you can find other home tours more interesting to you. Zeisha and Bronson
For $2000...no proper view, or ensuites for every bedroom? And if this is a multi award winning home... Then nz really needs to up it's architectural game. Beyond a couple of interesting features it's basic AF.
Hi there Goldenamorak, thanks so much for watching! The interesting features of this home are incredible and winning multiple awards it certainly deserves recognition for being a standout New Zealand home!
Hey Will, thanks so much for watching. The perfect place is indeed difference for everyone. What would you do differently to make it your own perfect place? 🙂
Agreed I avoid wood as much as possible. I always see something crawling in the corner of my eye and look, nope just the wood. 😅 Extremely water resistant materials are a must also.
Hey, there is a bit of storage in the bedroom for clothing however this was set up as a short term stay rental and built with that in mind., Definitely plenty of space for personalisation within 40ft containers though. Thanks for watching
