@@lyndonjones Well, I understand keeping the songs alive on the live circuit but after Simon and now Mark leaving, Bruce is dragging it out too far, shame I still have the albums and videos of the brilliant music.
@@jamesjukebox2386 Sad to hear Mark has left, he is a world class drummer and have seen him, with BC, five times over the years. First saw them during the "Peace in our time" tour at a packed Cork city hall and it was great. Yes Bruce is dragging it out too far now it seems and after Mark exiting the band he/ they may call it a day?! Like youI have they albums on vinyl, tape and CD and their songs get a heavy rotation on my iPhone playlists! BC stay with you like a lovers voice!🎶
@@jamesjukebox2386 Yes with The Cult too! By coincidence I had an old episode of TOTP playing via YT yesterday and Mark and The Cult were playing. He looked like a goth in it too with style and hair 😂
Agree though Simon was good Tommie brings it to another level. Never gonna replace Stuart. Was an enjoyable gig. my fifth time seeing Big Country, twice with Stuart and the original line up then twice with Simon on lead vocals and last Sat with Tommie
Irish / Australian comedian Jimoein says there are two kinds of English bands; big stadium bands who sing songs about ‘the people’ and quirky bands that sing about going to the chip shop. This is clearly the second category.
I've admired Mr Jennings for as long as I can remember, perhaps back to the 1960's. He was one of a trio of world-class keepers, along with Gordon Banks and Peter Bonetti.
He had everything as a goal keeper, positioning, athleticism and he could catch the ball something rarely seen now - I put him alongside Banks, Shilts and Clemence
