i've been posting on youtube since I was 12 (lol) and this is my fashion corner (yes, i do have another channel all about deeper existential crisis). here's how my brain would describe this channel!
🧸 MAIAZINE is from people to people. it's digging deeper into the layers of fabrics but also braincells of the minds behind the clothes. like a fashion show where everybody is getting naked!
(basically the video version of the fashion magazines i was making on powerpoint back in 5th grade)

Great video. I am forever haunted by long day when my flip flop, flopped. If you do buy them make sure the toe bit isn't showing at the bottom of sole. Those are legit disposable. I live in the sweaty South East, and while motu thing I do know ppl love Rainbows bc they do last and repair.. speaking of,many legacy and designer footwear brands offer repair and refurbishing. . Birkenstock definitely does. Same w handbags. My dilemma I would enjoy a future video to touch on is we don't have seasons in a lot of places. You can wear summer one day , fall the next, sometimes in the same day. I know layers is the default but .I would love other ideas.

I'm in the UK so it's always cold. I love to layer. My tips are... sheer clothing, I collect tulle skirts from the brand Bohemia as they come in so many colours and even patterned ones I've managed to thrift all of mine. I love to layer a short dress over longer skirts. Short skirt over longer ones. Super cropped jumper over a sleeveless dress. Cardigan with a dress. Long sleeve bodysuits are great for layering too. Long sheer lace dresses are perfect to layer over anything. If I have a loose fitting top or dress and want to synch in my waist I will wear a waistcoat (vest) done up over the top.
Watching this video gave me motivation to untangle my old box of jewelry and actually start wearing them again ! Now I'm excited to go on vacation and wear my best outfits ❤❤
FASHION SCHOOL STUDENTS=people who scroll through tik tok and categorize sub cultural (manufactured) trends “AESTHETIC” and call themselves fashion designers I know cus I was one of them 🫣
Love that fashion students don’t pay attention to who designs or creates their items of clothing they probably wear every day… I thought fashion students would pay closer attention to things they put on their body 😅

90% of my clothes are thrifted but often I don't know the name of the brand without looking at the tag. But the "I'm not gona tell you" comment home girl said in the video made me think "wtf?"
