Hello friends, my name is Halyna, I'm an artist working in acrylics. In this channel I demonstrate the creation process of my work with fluid acrylic, using different techniques, colors and canvas sizes. I like to work with fluid paint because you never can predict the final result. It is always surprising and absolutely unique. And in my channel, you will also find acrylic painting demos.
I am envious of yöur cells. I just can't get cells in my paintings which I did today. Mixed Owatrol, paint and water. Nothing doing. not one cell.. I dont know what I am doing wrong or what should I do OR what am I doing wrong!!
Thank you ☺I do not know Owatrol, never used it. Did you try the pearl mix with satin enamel for get some cells/pearls? It works very well - you may just need some practice for getting your own formula.
Lily of the valley are one of my favourite 💐flowers and I had some in my bouquet when I was married and you have done a beautiful painting that's a true reminder of my day..45 years ago.Thankyou.🤗😀
I love your entire aesthetic! Your approach, method, and results remind me of Sarah Taylor who is currently my favorite artist. I also appreciate how you are willing to try something but then get rid of it when it doesn't meet your expectations. I don't know how long you have been doing this but you have the boldness of a seasoned painter. Great job!
I am one of those who like negative space. So, I really liked this painting throughout the process. Was the house paint base coat your only cell developer? If so, it really did a great job.
I used only house paint and floetrol. I wanted to experiment with a not very expensive white base paint. I thought the house paint would give me another result, without many cells, but when I saw what I got, I decided - ok, it is interesting.
love It! Do you have an instructional video somewhere showing how you mix and what you use? I would be very interested in seeing your recipes because your results are amazing!
Thank you) no, I did not make instructional video, I do not have special recipe, it is always experiment, little bit more or less all ingredients. In this case I used mix with about 65-70% white color Soft Body Acrylic Paint by Artist's Loft( necessarily for pearl mix in my experience), added about 15-20% white DecoArt Americano, about 15% satin enamel, little Golden GAC 800 medium and water
Very pretty! I never seem to have success using red and blue together as they seem to combine to making a hideous color. I use either the wrong paints or my paint is too thin. Your embellishment added to it as well. Thank you for sharing your journey!
I really like your method. You retain more control over the finished product. I have scraped so much paint because when I depend on the paint moving into the position I want it, I am disappointed. But this method retains a lot of control so thank you so much for sharing. I really like the finished product.
Thanks very much for your comments. Keeping control of fluid acrylics and knowing how much angle to hold the canvas is tough to do. And even with lots of trying, it's rare when the results I get are exactly what I try to create.
