All the old issues remain. Lack of commitment, wrong formation and Moore not doing his job properly…Compared to yesterday-years, it’s neither fulfilling nor exciting being a Shrewsbury supporter. So called pundits have the Shrews finishing 3rd or in one persons comment, 4th from bottom at the end of the season.
I am a little worried by our performances and results in the last two matches, against teams who we should be beating easily! This has echos of last seasons pre-season, and we know what happened, we had a very poor start to the season proper! We have a tough opener at Stevenage, I just hope we have a good weeks training and work towards getting at least a point, to get the season up and running... Up the town
You said you would like to thank us the Rovers be nice to think about signing another contract replying that thanks all the best in your new club great player
Could be one for the future, will definitely be our number two goalie! Seems like he had a good youth background with England at under age level... Welcome to your home club...
I wonder who the trialist keepers were?? And weither we will sign any of them or not? All fails we still have beckles that can be promoted to the 1sts surely??
As always a very honest assessment for Paul Hurst should be an interesting meeting tonight think the Gaffer knows we need to add to the squad hopefully four more loan signings a goalkeeper a centre half a holding midfielder and a striker
Blue nose here. Good luck to Shrewsbury this season. Sounds like you've got a good gaffa there. Once your players are more fit and focused i can see you will have a good season.
It's never nice to lose, and as a Bluenose of 60 years I've had plenty of experience of that, but friendly results are all about getting the team fit and working together rather than goals for and against, imho. All the best for the upcoming season. KRO!
As a blue nose I’m pleased with the result we looked okay not so sure we are going to walk it but I’m hopeful, but just wanted to say thought Shrews looked decent at times too and was unlucky with at least one of the offsides from my angle which had my heart in my mouth KRO 💙 good luck for your season ahead
need a goalkeeper urgently Tommi looks a quality player Harrison Biggins stood out Ships worked hard great to see Nurse play I know fitness is the focus but we need quality in the middle and up front. Birmingham will spend big to get promotion, they have some decent players at this level but they will find teams will come and park the bus most Saturday's. will be a much harder test on Tuesday night.
O’Reilly seemed quite promising today and Lloyd seems good . But there we need some reinforcements for depth , but I would keep Godwin , Thompson-McKenzie and Loughran on the bench
Hard Worker, never shirks a tackle, and not scared to get forward. A home grown player, always sad to see them leave the Gas, you have a decent player, good luck Luca & Shrews for the new season ahead.
