Jacobs Ridge is a private animal sanctuary in Murcia, Spain offering a forever home to 140+ animals. This includes: horses, pigs, donkeys, goats, sheep, cats and dogs, many of which have been neglected, abused or abandoned. We offer all-inclusive volunteer experience breaks, making us not just a sanctuary for animals, but a sanctuary for people too.
Our mission is to be completely self-sustainable and not rely on hand-outs or donations. However, the pandemic had a massive impact on our funding model and so we have had to turn to other fundraising methods.
We promote a vegan lifestyle because we believe that every being has a right to life and a Life Without Fear.
This is my first time seeing one of your videos. Ronnie looked very good with the hat on! He needs his own hat! They are very curious, which means they are intelligent! Ronnie and Steve are sweeties, not weirdies! Lol! I'm sure that it wasn't Steve that tore into the boxes! He would never do that! Lol!
What a gift Julian and all at the Sanctuary give to the world ! Such an exquisite antidote to a troubled time in the world . At times of challenge as they say , my heart is uplifted and nurtured by the most beautiful work that is undertaken to nurture beautiful creatures . I am from Dublin Ireland , and I had a most handsome and charming donkey called ‘Mr Charlie ‘. He was delivered in the back seat of a car as a pony was lonely. With gentle care, he carried us in a trap , or he would help on the miniature farm . He loved to run, with no cruelty or whip , just a gentle squeeze on his furry tummy . And it was ‘great larks ‘ to win a Donkey Derby ! I still remember his beautiful ears , and that magic velvet spot near his nostrils as he so graciously accepted my kiss. The reverence and love of Julian and your team uplift my heart so very much …there is ‘ no measuring your gift …a Jewell beyond price ‘. I send my heartfelt gratitude to everyone , and I dearly hope I can meet with Ronnie and Lottie and all the gang some day ! Love, Claire .
They should form a pop group - with you as manager, of course, Julian. Not called The Monkees, however, rather: "Hey hey, we're the donkees, we're just donkeeing around, we're the young generation, we've got something to bray!" Cue lots of film clips of objects being chewed, thrown, fought over, etc...
My spine is chilled! But why would you not want the toy that the other guy has? I totally get it 😄🥰 Do they have buckets to play with? One Happy Ass Farm's donkeys love their buckets. It's so fun to watch.
It's really not for me to say, so now I shall say it: The two of you are a lovely pair, and it's a privilege to see two people so united in their perspectives and aligned in a beautiful, common mission. That is all.❤
