📜 Channel designed to explain a bit about J.R.R. TOLKIEN's fictional languages (and the others who made linguistic adaptations based on his works) used in “The Lord of The Rings” and “The Hobbit” movies.
PT-BR:
📜 Canal destinado a explicar um pouco sobre as línguas fictícias de J.R.R. TOLKIEN (e outros que fizeram adaptações linguísticas baseadas em suas obras) utilizadas nos filmes de “O Senhor dos Anéis” e “O Hobbit.”
Quando completar tudo o que for sobre as músicas e temas da trilogia. Depois tenho que ir aos diálogos e por fim, dar início às explicações sobre os idiomas.
It is because both the Nazgûl and Sauron renounced their creator [Eru Ilúvatar] because they wanted a life beyond normality for a being of the Maiar race and the Human race. As in the Prologue of The Lord of the Rings we only see Sauron in action, the music/theme represents both him and his servants...
this is so poetic given the scene; where Saruman is foolishly thinking Sauron would unite with him as an ally/equal, but Gandalf know the truth and warn him about how Sauron wouldn't share his power with anyone. The words "One... Dark... Lord... in... the Darkness" is so fitting here. Pure genius.
Kinda wish they portray Saruman more like in the book, where he clearly has his own agenda and want the ring for himself and not just being Sauron's lackey. Would be very interesting to see that version with of course the legend Sir Christopher Lee portraying this version of Saruman
There is no translator for Khuzdul, but some documents about the language and Neo-Khuzdul made for the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. But there is a website to translate words (not complete sentences) into Elvish [Sindarin]... www. elfdict .com 👈
Would be cool to see a movie culminating in the war of dwarves and orcs. Follow a messenger gathering up all the seven clans of the dwarves with some sideplots here and there and finally seeing all the armies march on misty mountains...
Well, there is no Translator, there are websites that list all the phrases used in films and songs for fans to read. But it is difficult to find 100% of the languages used in the form of sentences and music in films, because only a few are available. Is there a phrase you want to translate into Black Speech, Adûnaic or Sindarin?
What do the dwarves say after they break ranks to charge the orcs? It is the scene when they line up and the elves jump over them. Then the dwarves break ranks and charge. A command is given so they will break the shield wall and charge.
I absolutely love your work with everything, translating the lines and the themes sung in the movies too! Until now I've assumed that the chants in the songs were fancy deep gibberish, and they actually have a meaning, and a profound one at that. Just... Awesome work, really
Resolvi criar esse canal com intuito de explicar de forma de uma fácil onde, quais e como são usadas as línguas da Terra-Média criadas por Tolkien nos filmes do Senhor dos Anéis e O Hobbit, pq muitas pessoas não sabem mais todas as músicas que tocaram ao longo dos filmes não estavam em inglês mas em algum dos idiomas.
