I am mad about motorsport! I have only been karting for two years and came 2nd overall in my first full season of Corporate Karting. However, there’s a smaller chance of me challenging for a championship this year as I have missed races due to doing various things with Rotax karting (which I look to compete in soon)!
Content - I will regularly post content about general racing, iRacing, and karting.
For a 12 year old im genuinely impressed, I've done a few laps of PFI in the X30 and achieved a 58.6 which ofc isn't the best but the lap you've done is great keep practicing bro
question i have boguht it recently i have an ok pc not brilliant bjt every so often the graphics would go really low when i say low i mean like 8 bit is it because of the pc or something else would you know?
@@cvajdgdga yeah I think I know what your talking about. Me and my dad recently reinstalled everything on our pc and kartkraft had some pretty bad lagging issues. I don’t know the cause of this but my dad said it should get better overtime
For the people that are confused, the point of this video is to explain not to use the exit kerb of 180 corner (also known as the hairpin) as it can unsettle the kart therefore giving you a bad exit out the corner.
In a kart, lifting the wheel is a definitive technique, as it depends on the driver's positioning and where they place their weight and ultimately, whether they choose to lift the wheel or not. In a touring car, it is more of a symptom as the driver's weight has less overall effect. However, the touring car is set up to do that, so the same principles apply, just invoked via a different mechanism.
By shifting the weight to the outer tyres in a corner, you are increasing the grip that they can return. You are maximising the effect of the natural weight transfer in a corner. He explains this in the video.
Kartkraft is a good sim but there are some downsides: 1. The game isn’t being developed anymore 2. The selection of karts isn’t great 3. The selection of tracks isn’t great 4. The handling can take a while to get used to Even with those issues, it’s still a great game.
