Hi @sheetalkharat5941 - A full-time program should be preferred. IIMB BBA DBE can be a second degree that your daughter can pursue in parallel, if she has a lot of interest in the program.
Morning sir I’m pursuing my 2nd for Podar college Mumbai at the same time I got enrolled with Online BBA-DBE with IIM Bangalore Sir now I got offer letter from IIM SIRMOUR for full time residency course of 3 years Sir please guide me Should i join the full time IIM SIRMOUR COMPUS
Hi @sheetalkharat5941 - A full-time program should be preferred. IIMB BBA DBE can be a second degree that you can pursue in parallel, if you have a lot of interest in the program.
ISB mentioned 0-2 years Work experience, I joined a firm just after my graduation on Aug 1st 2022 and left at Aug 2nd 2024 which sums upto 2years 1 day as my total Work ex, So will I be able to apply for this program?
ISB has mentioned application deadline in December 2024 which is before cat 2024 scores are likely to be released. Is there any update as to how a cat 2024 aspirant can apply for isb for their 2025 intake? Or should I be focusing on gmat exam if I wish to get assessed for 2025 intake?
Hi @pranjaygupta2393. The CAT result will be out in 3rd week of December and the tentative deadline will be around 21st December. ISB will ensure that candidates are able to submit their CAT scores. If you're planning for B-schools outside of India as well, then GMAT will be a better option.
Hi, I got admission into IIM-B DBE programme, alongside I am a second year student of B.Con VNSGU (external) which means I just have to go to give exams at college, it’s like a win-win situation for me but still want to seek your guidance for the same. Kindly Enlighten Me. Thankyou
Hi @pradyumnwadhwa31 - While the course will certainly bring in a lot of learnings which will help you in the short as well as long run, I would like to understand your career aspirations.

@@IvyCrackers career aspirations : firstly pursuing two degrees at one time will definitely help me understand commerce’s field two biggest pillar and also the requirements the industry will need in future. Secondly, IIM degree will open gates for MBA abroad in digital field.
Sir I'm pursuing BBA(honors) this is my first year I just want to quit the program but I don't have any other options to continue right now so in second year I'm having flexibility to exit the program so after exiting that program can I take this degree as my primary as side by side I'm also doing coding so one question is that after taking this degree BBA dbe and adding coding skills will it be helpful for me in my future I want to take this as an primary degree should I go for this next year
Hi @parthsrivastava8127 - I would like to first understand why you are planning to quit BBA (honors) program. Also, what are your future goals? Would you like to get into entrepreneurship or would you like to get into software development?
Sir please tell me that i wanted to full time iimb.dbe because i wanted to do startup and entrepreneurship and it by iimb.dbe bba we can purse mba in India and forgienn???
@TarushS - relative grading means what's your grade like in comparison to others. It has no correlation with failing. It's said that anyone will have to work really hard to fail in IIMs. :)
Sir what will you advise me - a CA final student who have a ca final exams after 2.5 year and currently doing articleship from a CA firm which is in top 20 ca firms of india and also pursuing bcom but from IGNOU (open University). should I pursue this IIMB bba program or not.is it going to help me in future or not. Sir What'll be your geniune advise from your rich professional experiences should I go into this or just focus in my CA. waiting for your reply
Hi @sanjayraghuwanshi6623 - You should definitely focus on CA and complete it. IIMB BBA DBE can help you with business learnings, but it depends on what your aspirations are and what your expectations are from the same. If you can share these, then probably I can come up with a better suggestion.
Sir as of now I'm thinking of doing job after CA in fields like management consulting, investment banking, private equity or other finance related fields and not to go in traditional ca jobs like audit, taxation etc. and have aspirations to start my own startup one day after gaining knowledge from these fields 😊. So is this course going to help me in getting jobs in any of these fields and in future
Hi @sanjayraghuwanshi6623 - Yes this course can certainly help you but a lot will depend on how you portray the learnings in your resume as well as your interviews. As I mentioned in the video that there will be no campus placements, so that is one thing you will have to be wary about. But, yes the course will certainly help you build skillset which will be useful in your job interviews and conversion.

I have enrolled for this program. I am currently pursuing bcom hons from srcc. Would this be a good combination, i mean i will get help in bcom and also what i learn in bcom will help in iim dbe Also by any chance would the end term exams dates bcom hons and iim dbe clash with each other. What to do in that situation. Regards Shuhul Raina Regards
Hi @sachinraina9230 - It will be a good combination for sure. The exams will not be clashing with each other. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any other queries.
Sir please give me an honest answer is it worth or I should do my undergraduation from local college and then give CAT? Sir I have no idea I'm confused please suggest me what should be done
Hi @siddardha9001 - They will divide the students in the smaller batches. They won't conduct classes for all 1000 students at a time. Generally, the class size is 70-80 and then professor cold call the names and discuss.
Sir, My daughter pursuing BSC H Computer science 1st year DU Shaheed Sukhdev college and got admission in IIM BBA DBE with upto 12th Commerce with Math background, pls advise for future carrier option after both course
Sir, as an IIMB alum, you would have a better understanding of this. I have a query: I'm currently pursuing both a BSc in Agriculture and a BBA in Digital Business & Entrepreneurship from IIMB. As you know, extra marks are awarded for academic diversity, with courses like BSc being eligible, but not necessarily BBA. Since I’m pursuing both degrees, would I still be eligible for those diversity bonus marks? Looking forward to your guidance. Thank you!
Hi @AmroodKaJuice-tf8ws - Non-engineering graduates are considered for diversity. However, a lot depends on your overall profile and academic grades. A good part of this program is that you will get an IIMB alumni status which will definitely add weight to your profile. If you pursue it with B.Sc Agriculture then your profile will get strengthened, provided you get good grades. Hope it helps. Feel free to reach out if you have more queries.
Hi @vanshrajput2294 - It depends on your end goals. If you are planning to get into entrepreneurship then it will be definitely useful. If you're looking to pursue a corporate career then you will have to use it wisely in your resume and interviews. PS: Interviewers may ask for a full-time degree. Also, this degree can be used to take any entrance examinations in the future. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any queries.
@TarushS - Yes test will conducted in different states. See, each course has certain credits (such as 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 etc.) and that is all added up to decide the final number of credits. Now, credits are extremely useful for electives (which will come into picture in the 3rd Year). Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have more queries.
Hi @TarushS - do you mean that you want to pursue a professional course like CMA, CPA along with IIMB BBA or stand alone? IIMB BBA will require 10-12 hours of commitment on a weekly basis.
sir can we do it as secondary degree by going in a college doing bba as primary....i got selected thou but i am worried that will i be able to manage it with my offline degree + will i be able to manage it after long classes assigmnets research work etc. please clear. thank you
Hi @himans1312 - Yes my suggestion will be to definitely pursue a full-time on-campus degree. The IIMB BBA program will require approx. 10-12 hours commitment on a weekly basis. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have more queries.
Myself Samarth Mohanty doing BBE(bachlore of business economics ) from Delhi University. Is it possible to give justice to both that is BBE and iimb bba side by side. Can u pl give ur number for more clarifications
Hi @jyotiranjanmohanty9756 - Yes you can certainly do justice to both the degrees. In fact you should definitely pursue a full-time on-campus degree with IIMB BBA program. You can reach out to us at hello@ivycrackers.com and the team will schedule a call for you.
Which college are you doing it from bro and category? I'm targetting the same course, I am hopeful that I will get it in next round hopefully(I mean good colleges of South campus)
Wonderful! though you have a very few subscribers of your channel but in spite of that the quality and the honesty is reflecting through the delivery, all the best!!
Hi @tggaming8200 - You should definitely pursue it alongside a full-time on-campus degree course. Please share your profile at hello@ivycrackers.com. We will look into your profile and suggest courses. Your profile should include (1) your grades/percentage in 10th and 12th (2) what stream did you choose in class 11th (3) what are your interest areas.
@aadijain6830 - we don't have the access to the portal for admission registration. However, if you are facing issues then you can write to us at hello@ivycrackers.com and we will certainly help you.
If i take break in 2nd term and then rejoin in the 3rd does that mean i dont have to study for 2nd term and i will still get the certificate if i exited after the 3rd term???
Most likely you will have to go through recorded sessions and then take the exams for 2nd term. For sure, students will not be allowed to skip terms and get the certificate.
Sir I am doing bba entrepreneurship from fms Udaipur I have got the admission in iim Bangalore dbe programme should I do both the degree side by side or should I drop from fms Udaipur and do ba psychology from mlsu Udaipur Please help I am really confuse right now
Hi @kartiksahu7140 - FMS also has great brand image. (1) You should compare the curriculum of the two courses and see what will you be learning at IIM Bangalore vs FMS. (2) How's has your experience been at FMS Udaipur? (3) We won't suggest you to drop from a full-time program and join an online program. As we mentioned in the video, this program should be pursued along with a full-time on-campus degree program. (4) When did you join FMS Udaipur?
@@IvyCrackers sir I joined fms Udaipur 15 days ago My experience is good with fms Udaipur sir for now they are doing the orientation programme Sir my main doubt is that both the courses are similar so if I drop from fms Udaipur and take the admission in ba psychology(mlsu ) as a second degree What should I do sir which may help me on the long run
Sir I have some doubts, i want to give ipmat next year for ipm course in indore and ive got the offer letter of iimb bba dbe 1. Can I take break in the last 2 terms of 1st year as i want to focus completely on ipmat preparation? 2. do i have to pay full fees of 3 years even if i take exit after 1 year ? 3. how long is one term?
Hi @siddarth454 - (1) Yes you can definitely take a break. You will have to pay INR 1,000 for each term you take a break for. Also, you will have to invest 10-12 hours weekly for this program. (2) Now, you won't have to pay full fee if you exit after year 1. The fee structure allows you to make payment on term basis. This mean that for Year-1 the fees is INR 1,25,000 and you will have to pay INR 41,666 in each term. (3) Each term will be approx. 3~4 months. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have more queries.
Hi @akanksha8591 - Yes you can do that and that's the suggested option as well. You should definitely pursue a full-time degree along with this course from IIM Bangalore.
@akanksha8591 - Most likely the exams shouldn't clash. You will be getting a detailed schedule of full course along with exam timeframe. Since this is an online course, exam will be conducted on weekends most likely. However, do drop a note to dbeadmissions@iimb.ac.in. to get a confirmation on the basis of when the exams are conducted in your full-time degree (coz different universities/courses conduct exams at different times of the year).
Will this degree will consider as any bachelor degree for further education like to get into top b schools or it will be not considered as normal degree?
Hi @pbarwaliya - This will be considered an online bachelor's degree. It will be better if you can do a full-time bachelor's degree along with this program and then use both of these to get into top B-schools. Hope this helps. Feel free to reach out if you have any other queries.
Hi @nanoshortz6066 - (1) This degree will certainly help you in getting good placements, but there will be no campus placements. The networking opportunities and brand value of IIMB can certainly help. (We are building a video on how this program can help you get a job or career transition and it will be released in next couple of days) (2) As per the website you will not be able to visit the campus. However, since this is the first year and it's a new program, rules may change as the course progresses. You will be getting a lot of networking opportunities otherwise, along with IIMB Alumni Status.
Hi! The full-time courses are covered under the "Scholar Loan" scheme of various banks which allow collateral-free loans. In case of online programs, you will have to reach out to the banks and ask for regular education loan.
Haven't got positive reviews from the last batch. There's a lot of boasting around Masters Union, but in no way it's close to top B-schools yet. Coz of industry connects, they will be able to place a few students but what will matter is how those students do few years down the line and how rest of the students get placed. Haven't got positive reviews from the last batch.
