I hate saying this but what’s going on with brian graham. He’s our main striker, and plenty is going into the box, and he’s not getting on to them, he did in the past. We need Steven lawless, we need to change things and fast.
This has been just a fucking joke to the start of the season. You should not be the manager so just go away your rubbish no one can take this anymore. Just go.
Winning ugly is important, and only possible if you defend well. So far with 11 men on the park we have not conceded a goal from open play, THATS IMPORTANT VERY IMPORTANT. Hopefully when we next play Falkirk we are playing a lot better, we will need to if we want to beat who I regard currently as the best team in the championship. But well done, WE WON.
I support my team, and don’t hate any other. Ye I know all about the wee rangers tag, but I like anyone who supports their local team, and not the old firm. I don’t hate them either, I just reckon football would be better if everyone in Airdrie supported their local team. Of course I want to beat them, but that’s ok.
The good news, we won and we're 4th and in a play-off spot. The bad news, we have to stay there till the end of the season and none of the teams above us have lost in the league so far. That means we have to beat them. That means we have to improve.
Great win today. All about the 3 points. We need more video content on RU-vid. There is alot of video content on X from the official Partick Thistle account that doesn't get put on RU-vid. If we want to grow our fanbase, putting more content on RU-vid would be beneficial.
Interviewer's comment about 50:50 decisions going against us is a worry as was Kris's reply. We have a had a poor start to the season based on underwhelming football and generally poor results. To get momentum we must get away from excuses and get it right on the pitch. Over a season all teams have 'dodgy decisions' but the better teams avoid excuses, progress and win leagues and cups. For what it's worth (probably nowt!) I just do not feel that the team has gelled yet and I worry at the head start we have given Ayr and especially, Falkirk. We are in points terms a month behind and it is only mid-September. Something does not feel right and we need a good unbeaten run to get some momentum back. I will take points over good performances any day of the week. Nice to get both but points must come first. Come on lads let's get this sorted and quick. Mackem Jag.
The ref was a disgrace, that was never a penalty, as for the retake, I reckon he’s a regular at Somerset Park. I have looked several times and Robert’s foot was on the line when the dodgy penalty was taken. Then to make matters worse we were denied what looked like a penalty later on. We should yet again have won a game we either lost or drawn. But great show in the second half, well done Harry great goal
Given on Saturday if we lose against Ayr united there is going to be big trouble and we know it and it will be time for someone to pack his bags and leave
At the very beginning I questioned Doolan’s appointment, with No previous track record in football management the only job he would fall into was Thistle. He is clearly clueless and lacks the ability to motivate the players under his command. Our next manager must have at the very least on his CV some evidence he is a winner and ideally a trophy in his locker and NOT just Brian Graham (woman’s or boys brigade football does not count)…
@ScottMiller-t1v lennon is a proven winner in this country, he'd get a tune out of this squad no bother at all. Personally, I don't care if I like or dislike the manager, I just want a winning team.
@@colinnicholl7887 tell Celtic supporters that when the lost the league by 25 points to Rangers. I like Neil, but he knows how to lose a dressing room. He also did so at Hibs. Let’s give Kris one month then decide.
I was really pleased with the signings we made recently. And I know it takes a while for them to gel. But yesterday’s performance regardless of the result is simply not acceptable. We are not a team, we are a group of players who simply don’t play for each other. When you look at how Falkirk played and then look at us with players who individually are as good it sums up our current position. Look at how Alloa played, they played as a team, and deserved their win. Also I think we are missing our best player Steven Lawless, the sooner Steven gets fit the better. But I felt we were simply not up for this tournament, it showed in how we played. I hope we turn up next Saturday against Ayr, who are playing well right now. Do I think Doolan should go, ask me in a month’s time. But there’s no doubt he is under a lot of pressure right now. And he should be.
Sad to say I said it last season!! Early doors and got some stick for it! But come on! He’s not the man for the job! Legend as a player…..but ain’t got a clue at management! Players aren’t playing for him like someone said we’ve got a great squad! Never been really consistent under him!
Kris Doolan it’s time for you to pack your bags and leave the teams say goodbye and for everyone to have a manager who knows what he’s doing okay? Would be good for everyone.
#doolanout disgraceful stuff. not gelling at all. We have a great team, doolan can't manage for his life. 22/23 season turner was magnificent, alongside fitzpatrick. at that time, they were played up the pitch. both are playing too far back now. you need a lower line of defense, and get the fullbacks to press, stop passing back, just get it into turner who can find fitzy, fitzy can get it in, or if we get stuck have a dig and cut in. none of this sitting back passing it about nonsense. None of our signings make sense. fitzy and turner are normally joys to watch. under doolan, they haven't been able to excel. Go back to 22/23 tactics. We are an attacking team, so lets play attack football for fucksakes. You should never, NEVER, have your own fans which having been going for 50+ years booing you as a club legend. Firhill isn't coming alive again, its dead. None of our signings make sense either. On my return to firhill road, we'd better wake the fuck up or it'll be the last day i am breathing
We are defending well, and thats important. We will sort out the other issues, and don't forget we had 6 injured and two suspended. Lyons and Logan played well.
