Hey, thanks for the video work, Question, you state temp for checking overflow should be between 95 , 113 degrees. In one other video i watched the guy commented to check the overflow at operating temp . Hope you or one of the others clear this point up . 3rd gen murano .
Hello. Engine operating temperature that is correct. Engine will have higher temp faster so if you get your engine to operating temp the trans will be around 110f unless you drive it for hour or so. The higher the temp the more fluid will come out but difference between 110f and lets say 170f is around 1/4 quart of fluid. Hope that will help
Hello. Start the car until transmission fluid is around 104F but no more than 113F. Keep the engine running do not turn off the engine make sure it is in Park and check overflow. As you can see on the end of the video there is a lot of oil coming out from the overflow because temperature was close to 113F already. I let it cool down and re checked the overflow. Good Luck!!

Did you have to or do you feel the need to upgrade suspension (coilovers, sway bars, wheels/tires) so that it can handle all that extra power (especially around winding roads, etc)?
Hi. I am considering to install some coilovers in the near future, but on oem suspension it does performing very well. I don't take corners like crazy and I don't feel the need to change suspension to handle extra power, but for sure it would be improvement on some good coilovers.
@@skytech_00 You basically final torque the bolts when the control arm is in position when standing on the ground. But don't stress about this too much, if you did not load the control arm it will be fine.

It is not that crazy loud on start up but I am running on link g4x ecu and I set it up to drop rpm as quick as possible after start up. I will try to make a video and post it here.
@@boostedchrys Hi I have a 2012 Nissan Murano and it's always cutting of it starts shaking if I sit at a light to long and if I turn it off it won't start back up for an hour. What could this be. I took it to a mechanic and he took 400 from me and gave my car back the same as it went in
@@JYoungblood1 What code does the check engine has? It is hard to point you to any direction, because the best way would be to connect scanner and watch fuel pressure/o2 sensor fuel trims etc, so that way it would give us an idea. Check what code does the check engine light has.
@boostedchrys ok thanks. Now my symptoms went from accelerating from a stop and reach 40 mph the car would jerk to the left. I replaced the top two last night and the car no longer jerks but it does jerk once I let go of the gas. What can it possibly be?
@@datrucker210 Sometimes jerk on those cars is related with transmission but not necessary. Are all engine/transmission mounts changed? Also check in what condition are cv axles
@boostedchrys have to do the bottom transmission torque mount. My lift took a crap so either I buy a new one or take the car to someone to do that one.

Looking at doing this myself as the dealer wants 580 dollars. How hard was it to pull out the transmission cooler from the bottom to change the filter or is it easier from the top?
Last time I did it was from the top, never tried from the bottom to be honest but I will try next time. From the top is not bad you need to remove air filter etc.
Hi. If you have new wheel hub assembly then you do not need to grease it because bearing is inside and you will not be able to grease it . You can put a little grease on the housing where you slide the new hub in.
I've tried and tried to get the cap off the dipstick on my 2017 and it won't come off I've used the screwdriver and it just won't budge, any help is appreciated.
Hi. You need flat very thin screwdriver. It is hard to get this cap off especially if it was never removed before. Try to insert very thin screwdriver and pull the cap at the same time.
Hi. I did not compared those 2 cars yet but if I have a chance I will definitely make video about it. I had a chance to drag race with 2018 audi sq5 stage 1 (427hp) that I will post video about in a week or two.
The more often you change it the better but good practice is to change it at least every 30k miles. If you are towing any trailer or used the car off road etc more often oil changes are recommended.
If I remember correctly I can see the transmission temperature right from the dashboard. So really you don't even need that scanner. Just need a way the tool to measure it.

Hello, Glad I was able to help! Start the car until transmission fluid is around 104F but no more than 113F. Remember to watch trans oil temp, the higher the temp. the more oil will be coming out of the overflow. As you can see on the end of the video there is a lot of oil coming out from the overflow because temperature was close to 113F already. I let it cool down and re checked the overflow. Good Luck!!

Hello! I am glad I was able to help! I changed with aftermarket unit and it does hold very well no code anymore. Please make sure to buy the manifold with the sensors. Good luck!!!
It does hold pretty good. Those transmissions are not weak. I tuned the peak torque pretty soft and I also change trans fluid every 10k miles. So far so good. Will do some e85 fuel in the future to squeeze some more power.
