I love BPC inks. I also have been mixing their inks to make my own as well as use some of their recipes they have on their website. They perform so well. I've had to put myself on a time out from buying their inks. Hehe. You have some beautiful colors
The resin blank that was used to make the pen is actually called “Unicorn Poop” by McKenzie PenWorks. It’s being used for the new Esterbrook Sweet Dreams as well. It’s a pretty popular blank, very beautiful! Great video. Thanks! 🎉
I just fell down the "BPC" rabbit hole, a couple months ago, and am hooked! Sold off a bunch of my inks and started collecting their "Atominks" collections, so I could play with mixing their back catalog of colors, as well as make some of my own. I'm particularly fond of the fact that even their lightest colors aren't "dry" like so many other brands seem to be.
Awe thank you. Supercell is a beautiful color. I think I may have overused the ink a couple years ago and haven’t been wanting to use it, but I know I’ll come back to it
Definitely a more restrained design for Benu! I'll be curious about the Omas. I have two older ones, and I'm curious about the newer iteration of that company.
I'm eager to see how your new Omas writes. I've heard some of the criticisms people have had of the new Omas and I get where they're coming from, but I also saw Tom from Goldspot interview Frank, the new owner of Omas and Navalur (sp?) and he seems like a genuinely lovely pen enthusiasts.
@@CarrotsOlives Ah, so they think you should by a Scribo to get a "real" Omas? If I like a pen and can afford it, I buy it, as IMO the brand means nothing. In fact, I have many "unknown" pens in my collection.
Another Atlas shopper here! I added two Omas Bologna pens in June and July: gray with a broad nib and green with a medium nib. I was afraid Omas might go away again. My first Omas is a Paragon in black with a fine nib; it was a gift from my mom about 35 years ago. Fantastic pens! Enjoy yours!
I don't know if you are aware, but it is a different color sheening dark lilac then the previous release. It's has green sheen now instead of a bronze sheen.
Light can damage - alter inks! It's good to keep them in a dark place. At least in their boxes if they are on an open shelf/desk. I love the new Lamy Dark Lilac but I never tried the original, maybe I'd be disappointed then, it's not the same they say. Sending lots of love! I love your videos so much!
Oh man, I’ve now discovered 4 inks that I am going to have to track down samples of! Hana Gokoro, Kim So-Wol, Freedom Park Rose & Wicked Witch. I liked the Milky Ocean, but I don’t think I could read it. Thank you for the video! 😀
Interesting selection! I noticed that you hold the pen correctly when writing in print and tend to have a deathgrip when writint cursive. Have you noticed already?
Haha. Such an eye 👁️ for detail. I know I have to hold the pen differently for different writing styles, but I feel like I do a death grip for both print and cursive. I think I don’t death grip as often for printing because that’s my normal writing style.
