Thank you for checking out my video dude! Very much appreciated! Oh I hope they do Monkeywrench soon. I love those guys too. I think you're going to love Torch!
COLDSLITHER!!!🤘😆 💯🔥🎯Review!👍 Buzzer's & Ripper's 🕶️ 🕶️ should've been this same way. 🤞That they don't screw🖕up IronG.DESTRO.🤞Or make him some CON-exclusive. ✌️
Hey! Thank you for watching my video! I wish Buzzers glasses were better. Rippers seem to stay on pretty good. I'd rather them not be painted on but I don't think they could do separate glasses for Torch. I'm looking forward to a IG Destro. You're right it better not be an exclusive. Thanks for your comments man!
Hey man! Thank you for watching my video! Yes dark grey boots would have been great. I don't mind the black boots but I guess grey would be more cartoon accurate. Thanks for your comment! Cheers man 🍻
Your gripe is justifiable! There's been some odd decisions made when it comes to load outs and accessories with some figures. I try not to focus on differences between actual 80s releases and todays retro releases. One thing's for sure... Modern figures are so much better than what we had as kids. I began collecting the Classified line from the beginning #00. I have just recently began to open all of them after more than 4yrs of buying them. And what I've noticed... Is the differences in plastic quality of the earlier releases to recent releases. The previous releases feel gummy. The joint tolerances are extremely tight. And the weapons are rubbery. The more recent releases seem to be a harder plastic with softer tolerances. And that's what we need! I'm inching closer to completing my Classified line up. Only collecting characters from 82' to 87'. (certain characters from 87')
Hey! Thank you so much for watching my video! I know exactly what you mean with the figure quality over the years. Recently I had a stack of figures I hadn't opened yet that went back to around the 70's in the series. I noticed a huge difference in quality even with those compared to the newer ones past 100. The figures have come a long way in quality and I think for the most part the figures are outstanding. The issues are still around with the weapons and accessories. They said we will start seeing better plastic in the weapons and accessories but I haven't really seen it yet. Once they improve that, these figures will be incredible. They're almost there! What figures are you still looking for?
I pre ordered this figure from a local online store. Hasbro does need to think out of the box most of the times. But it is a good figure. Thank you for the review. 🙂
Hey brother! Thank you so much for the Super Thanks! I've never received one of those. And thank you for checking out my video! Very much appreciated my friend!
Hey! Thank you for watching the video! Ya I see what they are doing to keep it similar to the ARAH figure, but I would have just rathered a machete for his hand. But that's just me. And with the condition the machete came in the package, I'm just not going to use it. But again that's just me lol. I appreciate your comments. Cheers 🍻
I've said this before but something more like what I'd call a traditional looking hunting rifle would have been much better imo. An elephant gun even. The animals are great. Looks like the accessories are the part of this release that is a little lacking. One that I'm picking up regardless. Good stuff sir.
Hey! Thank you for checking out the video! I totally agree with you. A new gun from a new mold would have been a great addition to this figure. I think Gnawgahyde is one of the best they've done. It's a beauty! The animals are great too. Hasbro just needs to work on the quality and what they offer with these figures. I get reusing weapons and accessories goes back to the ARAH line from the 80s and 90s but to me a deluxe set should be an offering of new weapons and accessories. I definitely recommend getting Gnawgahyde because the figure is awesome. Thank you for your comment on that other comment. I always praise these figures in my videos but if something is not right I'm going to say it. I don't think that's crying about it lol. Cheers man 🍻
Is there any difference in paint apps between the retro carded one and the first Classified release? I can't tell for sure from photos, but I think they're totally the same figure.
Hey! Thank you for checking out the video! I believe the only difference is the shade of grey. The first one was lighter and then a bit darker for the retro to match the original ARAH o-ring figure. The other one had a different logo on the backpack as well. Otherwise same figure.
Hey Robert! Thank you for checking out my video! I really hope you're wrong lol! I will be extremely disappointed if all 4 figures dont fit for in the 4 available seats. That would be bad very for Hasbro if they didn't create the car to accommodate the 4 figures. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I've got the figures ordered. Cheers man!
@@destrosdesk No need to wait and see. Hasbro confirmed it themselves, the car was never meant to fit these figures, and were modified from the afterlife version. She confirms you can only fit 2 in the front, none in the back. Search for the 9 minutes video titled 'TOYSHIZ LIVE at WONDERCON HASBRO!'
@destrosdesk You are gonna be pissed then. Sorry to say but it has already been confirmed 3 figures will only fit in the car and that's if you cram 3 in the front seat. As you can see for yourself they just don't fit well. Right up to the roof in the front seat. No chance for the rear seats. I guess an option is to have two figs in the car and two others messing with the packs at the back of the car I guess. Prob gonna cancel mine. Keeping the figures though cause they are cool on their own.
I just don't understand how can they make a 1/18 scale car and figures and the figures dont all fit in the car. I've got the figures ordered, I'll keep them because they are cool looking but that is just very disappointing.
Hey! Thank you for checking out my video! I know right! I got very lucky to come across this set. I never have that kind of luck. Thank you for your comment. Cheers!
Hey!! Thank you for checking out my video! It really is a cool set! Let me know if you ever come across one and pick it up! Thank you for your comment. Cheers!!
Hey! Thank you for checking out my video!! That is so awesome you had the Rambo set and you had the M60!! I'm definitely keeping my eyes open for the Rambo M60 set. That set looks so good! Thank you for your comments! Cheers!
Hey!! Do you mean they used the Ruger mini 14 in the show? If so, I agree but they did use a wide range of guns in the show. I think the toy company just created M24 toy set as a more generic gun and branded it with multiple shows and movies. It wasn't necessarily used in the show. Thank you for your comment. Cheers!
i have the ninja speed cycle it was very meh. the bricks had plastic bits in the plastic and missing parts so i had to buy another to complete also the cycle doesn't stand. those sets are bad i feel like they worth maybe 1 dollar. i bought block tech or make it block knock off lego and they weren't bad
Hey Daniel! Thank you for checking out the video! Yes not much to say about those sets except they're crap lol! I wish Lego would actually come out with G.I.Joe sets. That would be awesome because I do like a good Lego set. I just kept the sticker sheets and threw away the pieces. Not a huge loss! Thank you for your comments! Cheers dude!
@@destrosdesk yeah i think another reviewer said hasbro should go to mattel since they did some call of duty megablox sets. since lego i know they don't really do army stuff because the founder wasn't fan of war. and i can sorta respect that its their decision. also your welcome for my comments
I never collected the Gi joe line as a kid but l am started collecting the classified line. Airborne is a good looking figure. I love the head sculpt and the vest. Agreed the weapons could've been made a little better. Hes good looking figure. Love the vest color. Good video sir.
Hey Jerelle! Thank you for checking out the video! I'm happy to hear you have started collecting the Classified line! The figure line started out as the characters designed different from the original 3 3/4 inch line but now they have become pretty much exact replicas of the 3 3/4 line in 6 inch scale. So even if you didn't collect them as a kid, you're basically getting the originals in 6 inch. I love them. Yes they have their flaws and some quality issues at times but great figures to get into! Cheers 🍻
Hey! Thank you for checking out Big Boa! Yes this is a great figure and must have if you're a fan of this character! I totally understand that Hasbro is pushing out a lot of figures and it's hard to get them all. Just put it on your want list. You'll get it and you'll love it. Let me know what you think when you do! Cheers dude 🍻
Hey Maximo! Thank you so much for checking out my video! And thank you for the sub! Very much appreciated! Ya it sure is a great set and a great add on for the Hiss Tank! I'm happy you liked the video! Feel free to check out my other Figure reviews. Cheers man 🍻
Hey George! Thank you for checking out my video! Yes Hasbro will definitely get their money's worth using this for the stinger and the Vamp. I don't think I will buy the MMS version though. I felt the price for this was steep especially in Canada. Cheers man 🍻!
@@destrosdesk I’ll get the mms to go with my vamp and that will be it for me. I’m not buying Python patrol or tiger force vehicles I passed on the tiger paw also . I did grab a ferret
Great review, makes me almost regretting selling off my his tank. Had to sell it off to pay for the cats medical bill, but yeah, if I still had my tank, this one would be a no-brainer.
Hey Dude! Thank you for checking out my video! I very sorry to hear you had to sell your tank. But you did it for the right reasons. There are more important things than these pieces of plastic. Hopefully one day you'll be able to re-acquire the tank. Cheers to you 🍻
@@destrosdesk Yeah :) trying to keep my 20 year old furry baby in good health. Sold my tank and sold my VAMP. But as you said, it's for the right reason.
@@destrosdesk Sold my whole Star Wars collection last year for the same reason :) Are yours boys or girls? I got two boys, Tiger who's like 20, and Aslan who's 2 and pissing off Tiger evey day LOL
Hey dude!! No worries! I'm glad you like this version of Duke. I think it's one of the best Classified figures so far in the line. I think I got a message from you the other day but when I went to respond to you the message was gone. Not sure what happened there. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Cheers brother 🍻
I don’t really like his color scheme, but might get him and repaint. Also, I want to see if his helmet fits Action Sailor, cause it looks like it could match his olive green accents, and make a good helmet for out of the water work.
Hey!! Ya the color scheme is of his original Joe figure. There's lots of possibilities with customizing the paint. It's a solid figure that looks great! Do you mean the 60th anniversary diver or the infantry soldier? I haven't tried the helmet on the infantry soldier but I would think it should fit. I might try that tonight. I have the anniversary figures but still haven't opened them. I'll let you know when I open it up.
Hey! I haven't heard anything from anyone about the loose waist on the Techno Viper. I'm sure I wasn't the only one but nobody mentioned it in any posts I've seen. I heard back when fire fly 2.0 came out some had the loose issue and some didn't. Luck of the draw I guess.
Hiya! Just recently got into GI Joe via the Skybound comics, and recently came across your videos. Its cool to see the different figures, as someone who has been on the Transformers side of collecting. I usually videos while drawing, and I appreciate that you give off a..."real personality". As, in the past Ive been turned off from toy reviewers, as those that I came across usually had its host basically be a Character (usually loud n snarky, throwing packages, etc) that they play. My interest in GI figures (as, Im not in the budget to start collecting those too, ahah) is thus mostly directed to watching RU-vidrs as yourself. Its nice to see people who just...are people if that makes sense. And I totally get what you mean about mental health and just being nonchalant about interest in toy collecting and cartoons--although, perhaps a little different, as I am like, half your age and wasnt around for the old cartoons and have no nostalgia, ahah. Like yea, I like toys and collecting that, from cartoons made to sell those toys. Yeaa their tactics worked on me because I like those toys, lol. Could have worse interests! And for sure, Hasbro has its issues (esp on the Transformers side of things with quality control), but they still put the effort to do reissues and tweaks and designs each time. Anyway, Cheers, hope your 2024 is going well!
Hey! Thank you so much for checking out my channel and my videos! I really appreciate your kind comments. Ya I've seen how other toy channels and reviewers can be a bit much. All I want to do is be myself. I'm not going to do things or say things that would jeopardize my reputation. Just want to be myself and speak like I would in my personal life. Sometimes I think being myself is boring in my videos but I've had positive feedback like your comments that keeps me pointed in the right direction. So thank you for taking the time to say you like what I do and how I am. It's a great feeling. That is great that you have taken an interest in GiJoe from the skybound comics. I too am reading those comics and I think they're great. I'm also collecting the original marvel GiJoe comics because I really want to experience the original story. If you have the tubi app you can check out the original cartoon series or or Hasbro's RU-vid channel. I am a huge fan of Transformers! I have a few of the figures from the 80's but I collected most of the War for Cybertron line and the studio 86 figures. I understand the frustration with Hasbro's quality. The GiJoe Classified figures have some issues too. My channel was supposed to be all things action figures but due to time and affordability I've mainly stuck to GiJoe. Thanks again for checking out my channel! Feel free to comment, I love communicating with anyone that comments. Take care and enjoy your day!!
If you don't have this guy, grab one if you can. It's a great figure. I didn't have the original either but I picked up a mint complete one recently at a toy show. Thank you for checking out the video man! Much appreciated!
I myself got 1 2 not 3 but possibly adding a 4th lol. Yo joe these retro figures look amazing. I in the near future we get a retro Flint and Cobra commander.
Oh yes Shipwreck! What a beautiful figure! I believe when this Shipwreck came out, Hasbro made a big overall improvement to the figures they were releasing. This is when I started to go all in on this line. Shipwreck is a must have for your collection my friend!
